Question: in one of your posts you mentioned getting one of your friends a "day guest pass" at AoA. I've never heard that term before. What is it?

Jess could you explain how to know which pins are scrappers? Is it just that they look "rough" or is there some other way to be sure? I wonder if I already have some in my collection. And I sometimes get a few on ebay and would like to know if I am getting authentic Disney.

Hey, this is mark! I just wanted to inform everyone that woody Jessie buzz and the green army men are only permitted to greet when Andy or Bonnie are out so they know that they will not be coming... Also, as they are not new toys anymore, we don't want them to get damaged or anything so we shouldn't play tricks on them!

March 20th, 2013 (Part 1) - Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt!

Sergio and I were the only ones who had the day off so we went to Epcot! YAY! On the way I stopped at CVS and a gas station. Then we got to Epcot and went right to World Showcase. It was almost two in the afternoon and neither of us had eaten so we were STARVING!

We went the Canada way and went to the United Kingdom to get our first foods! We both got the Potato, Chive, and Cheddar Cheese biscuit with Smoked Salmon and sour cream. This was really good! The biscuit was SUPER delicious. I liked it a lot!

I also got a Berry Trifle. I decided that is my favorite thing at the Flower and Garden Festival. (tied with the violet lemonade) The fruit is so fresh and it’s sweet and delicious! I wish that it came in a bigger size!!

Then in Japan I got some more Frushi! I love that stuff!!

Surge decided on a whim to get the Chirashi Hanazushi which is grilled salmon, cooked shrimp, and crab over ginger rice. He said it was really good but the wasabi was REALLY strong. Wasabi terrifies me. Remember that one time at Kona when it cleaned out my sinuses to the max? I do. That was scary.

YAY JAPAN!

Then we went to the American Adventure and both of us got the beef briscuit. It was really good! Today I decided to add some of the sweet barbeque sauce to it and it really added to the dish! I loved it!

I got the Rocky Road Brownie Mousse and well and that was amazing. I didn’t eat the brownie part again but I LOVE that mousse!

Then Surge and I were both really full, so we just walked back to the Port of Entry store. The walk around World Showcase seemed so short today! I don't really know why... usually the World Showcase seems so much bigger.

We got to the Port of Entry and grabbed our Vinylmation Easter Egg hunts for Limited Time Magic! I WAS SO EXCITED!!!!!! We were off on an Easter Egg hunt!

Before we started, we had to grab some Violet Lemonade for fuel! This is my other favorite Flower and Garden treat! It’s just SO GOOD and refreshing!!

LOOK! FLOWER AND GARDEN DUFFY! Gahh he's so CUTE.

We had to find the Easter egg in each country and match the sticker to the correct country! It was so much fun spotting them! We made it quite the competition to see who could find the egg first.

Just to add another aspect to the egg hunt, I decided to take a picture of every Easter egg. Perry the Platypus was in Canada:

And my favorite was in the United Kingdom... PLUTO!!!!

The sidewalk chalk drawings are always so adorable!

Off to France!

As we were leaving the American Adventure we saw a bunch of characters greeting! MAX WAS THERE!!!!!!! I definitely had to get in line to meet him!

Then little Chippy was the trickiest to find! He was in China but he was in this rock formation a little bit set off from the rest of the pavilion.

Lastly, Figment was in Norway!

We finished our walk around the world and completed our egg map!

I just have a random question I have been wondering about.

Most of us will probably never get the chance to actually live at WDW as you are doing.

My dream is to one day live in Celebration.

My question is how long does it take to "sink in" that you are actually LIVING at WDW or does it ever really "sink in"?

Can it be put into words what it feels like?

I have loved your past couple of updates. It is so interesting to see the other side(aka behind the scenes). I wish our company had meetings at Coronado but I work for Pepsi and since WDW is a huge Coke place it is doubtful I would have a meeting there.

I am going to be in Disney April 11th-15th and my goal is to see you!!!! Haha along with my goal of trying every F&G booth, riding all of the rides, meeting the Monsters Inc characters, etc.

That is hilarious that you posted that pic of the Strawberry Shortcake and someone saw it right next to you!

March 20th, 2013 (Part 2) - THE BEST PIN TRADE EVER/SPLASH MOUNTAIN IS OPEN AGAIN!!!

I had to take a picture of the Monster topiaries. THEY ARE SO PERFECT.

The line in Port of Entry was super long, so I thought we could redeem our map at the Pin Central in Future World. Unfortunately we couldn’t because they only sell the maps there... but our trip was not useless.

Now, we all know my pin addiction. Well, I usually NEVER look at the people who bring their pin books to the pin trading tables at this place. However, for some reason I went up to a guy today and started looking at his pins. Oh God.

He had some INCREDIBLE pins. He told me he was really looking for Mickey and Minnie pins. He has a collection of thousands! His daughter also collects Stitch pins. So he was just a really precious pin trading Dad. He said that the pins he had on display were the ones he used to trade for Mickey and Minnie pins.

So I had a 101 Dalmatians pin that I wanted to trade, and I asked him if he would trade it for something. He said he would trade his TOY STORY MANIA BUZZ LIGHTYEAR PIN FOR IT. Umm… yes. Yes yes yes.

Then I told him I was going to look at my pins and I would be RIGHT BACK. There was a Figment pin that he had that I was OBSESSED with. I needed to have it.

So Surge and I went back to the Port of Entry store and Surge got in line to redeem our Easter Egg Hunt sheets. We got Vinylmation key chains as our prize! I got the Simba one and he got the Goofy one.

In the meantime, I NEEDED MICKEY AND MINNIE PINS. So I bought three of them. I WAS READY TO TRADE.

So I went back to the guy and I traded a Mickey/Minnie/Purple Castle pin for the Figment pin! He actually took that pin in his special stash so he could put in on his bulletin board at home. YES.

Then I also asked if he wanted the other ones. He was definitely interested, especially in the heart one! For that one, I traded for the most GORGEOUS Aladdin and Jasmine magic carpet pin! He said he has been holding onto that pin for a long time and he was waiting for the right person to trade it to. And he also told me that my Mickey and Minnie pin was going to a good home. WHAT A SWEET HEART!

Then for my last trade, I traded for a Haunted Mansion pin where Mickey and Pluto are the old man and the dog. MOST AWESOME PIN EVER.

I walked away from that trade SO EXCITED. That was the best pin haul I have ever had in my entire LIFE. Oh my God, I was so happy. I never got over it all day... best day EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After that we left Epcot and headed back to the apartments. I reorganized my pins for about 20 minutes and then I went to a CP Alumni Speaker Series event over at The Commons.

After that I went back to Mark’s apartment. Mark, Surge, and I were going to go to Magic Kingdom but Mark was too tired to go. So Surge and I just went anyway. I NEEDED SPLASH MOUNTAIN AND I NEEDED IT RIGHT AWAY.

We drove to Magic Kingdom and parked at the Contemporary. It was raining a little bit but we headed over to Cosmic Ray’s to get some dinner! When we were leaving the cash register, this cast member was talking to this little girl and asked her "would you like some stickers?" And I was like "I like stickers too!!" So she gave me some Sonny Eclipse stickers. What a nice lady.

THERE HE IS!

I got this SUPER good Turkey Sandwich and French Fries.

Surge got a burger and he thought it was SUPER good. He was very, very happy about his choice.

After that we headed over to Frontierland! The parade was going on so we walked through Fantasyland and went to Thunder Mountain first! There was only a 10 minute wait so we went on! We were in the 2nd last row. This picture came out so weird but kind of cool at the same time.

It was super fun and I was building up the anticipation for SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!!

THEN IT WAS FINALLY TIME AND I WAS SO, SO, SO EXCITED!!!! I WAS FINALLY REUNITED WITH MY BEAUTIFUL SPLASH!

The first ride we were in the first row!

March 20th, 2013 (Part 3) - SPLASH MOUNTAIN.

Then they just let us stay on for a 2nd ride without having to get off! WOOHOO!!!!! We could see the Main Street Electrical Parade from our log!

The only other guy in our log had been riding Splash Mountain ALL DAY. Ride #1 for us was ride #19 for him!

Then they made us get off but we wanted to go again! So we walked around and went through the queue. We got on and the fireworks were happening! It was so much fun!

The same guy was on with us again and he wanted us to all pose like this for our picture because it was his friend's favorite pose. He wanted to show him this picture and tell him how we all did this in honor of him. LOL

After that we went back into Frontierland and got Mickey Bars! They were both cracked but they still tasted MAGICAL!

Then we walked over to Adventureland and went on Pirates for one last ride of the night! The park was COMPLETELY empty.

After that we just avoided the second parade and made it back out to the car. We drove back and I brought my computer back to Mark’s apartment. I wrote down what happened today, responded to some emails, and did my communications homework for tomorrow.

WHAT A DAY!

I was too scared to bring my expensive dslr camera overseas the last time I went to Disneyland so my photos weren't the best I know you've answered lots of questions before about your photography, but do you use the camera in automatic mode, or do you manually change some settings?

YAYAYAYAYAYYAAAAAY YESYESYEYSYSYYEYESYES!!!!!! Oh I can't believe how well these discounts worked out for all of us. The only thing better than Disney = discounted Disney. I THINK I FEEL MY EYES TEARING UP. 45 days!

Omg. Can I just tell you what a frump I am? Okay. So that Rocky Road Brownie Mousse has been haunting my dreams. I literally went to Whole Foods specifically to buy a slice of their black and white cake bc I could not stand how bad I wanted this mousse and I imagined it tasted similar. I am not even joking. I am the only person who goes to Whole Foods, buys a piece of cake, and leaves. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THIS!!! Same goes for the violet lemonade. I have no idea what that's going to taste like but it's just SO PRETTY.

OMG I wish I could have done that Vinylmation hunt. I AM DYING TO KNOW WHAT THE LIMITED TIME MAGIC IS GOING TO BE DURING MY TRIP. Like. You have no idea. I was joking about how I hope it includes a sleepover with Eugene. And by joking, I mean I was dead serious and have been praying about it. No one's mad.

I can't believe you got to meet Max in Epcot of all places!!! I have wanted to meet him for so long! I've heard he greets during Character Palooza at Animation but I missed it when we went. BOO.

I LOVE all your Splash pictures and I can not wait to go on!!! I love that CM that came alone and rode it 19 times. Omg, that's so cute.
