Disney codes and AAA

Help! I've booked with AAA and the disney people say I now have a 'code' under my name but they can't pull it up yet. We've booked POFQ water view and I already checked and these rooms are all taken so I don't want to lose my room by cancelling and rebooking. ANYWAY... Can I get the code discount thru AAA?

You could have your AAA Travel Agent call Disney and inquire about the code. Let her know specifically what you were told. Now that said, AAA cannot stack discounts. You would have to decide which is better, the discount you got through AAA or the one Disney says they can give you.

Sometimes Disney will have a PIN code attached to specific guests' names in their system. When a guest calls to make a ressie, the CM taking the ressie can see that code on their screen. You may have been sent a postcard or email with a discount offer that you're not aware of. Or, the code might be in the process of being sent to you.

In either case, the PIN codes are almost always better than a AAA discount. Plutolovr is correct. Discount codes cannot be stacked. AAA will be able to get you either theirs or the code that Disney has in your name but not both.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to have AAA get a price quote for you. Simply getting a quote should not cancel your existing ressie. Lucky you, to be in a position to have 2 possible discounts!

Lisa, thanks, thats what I wanted to know. AAA can apply the disney discount to a AAA ressie. Right? As of now with AAA I'm saving about $200. The more the better!!!!
