Hi, i am wondering if anyone on here has used disney clubs for kids? We wanted one night with no kids and did not want to hire a babysitter in a strange town! ( strange meaning - far away from home! ) I booked for my 4 children a night at a disney club ( i think it is called never land ) at polyenian resort. I was wanting to know if anyone has used this program and what you thought. Thanks, Lisa

We've used the Neverland Club 2 times for our 3 boys, ages 4 - 11, and they loved it! They have a buffet dinner of typical "kid fare", hot dogs, chicken nuggets, I remember my kids talking about corn on the cob and fruit.

They have movies going twice thru the evening. There are all kinds of play station type games. My kids loved them, because we don't have them. So that was where my older 2 spent the night.

My younger one at 4 & 5 during the 2 trips, did a craft project, played games with the "baby sitters", and watched the movie when he got tired.

After the first time there, it was their first request of things to do when we went again.

My son (age 5) stayed at the Neverland Club at the Poly for the first time this past May. He LOVED it. The club was a bit worn in my opinion (I think it's time they rehabbed it), however, it was clean. The CM's were very good with the kids. It's themed like Peter Pan. You go through a window in Wendy's Bedroom to enter the club. I think it's a real bargain for $8 an hour for a dinner buffett, movies, games, crafts/activities, and all the video games that you want to play. The CM's are good at interacting with the kids - they are very much more than babysitters. (We spent some time in the club at drop off/pickup). My son really enjoyed being on his own with other kids. My DH and I enjoyed riding the monorail to dinner at the California Grill. We had a great view of the MK as the sunset!! (FYI - we parked at the Poly and took the monorail to/from the Contemporary. The parking lot attendant directed us to a parking space close to the Club. ). Oh, the CM's also give you a pager at the Neverland Club and whoever signed your child in, can only sign them out. You must also let them know where you will be. At the end of the stay, the kids got a small gift to take home with them.
