Disney Club ticket purchase

We are thinking about buying park hopper tickets with my Disney Club card discount. We decided not to do an AP because it will probably be 2 years between visits. What I am wondering is since park hopper passes do not expire should I purchase enough days for both visits, so that I get this years prices, the club discount, and passes will still be valid ?
Anyone else done this before with or without problems ?

You will have no problem using your passes that far into the future. That is one way to beat future price increases!
