Disney Christmas parade on ABC right now!!

Anyone else watching the parade? Tonight on the history channel there is a special at 8pm EST about the technologies at Disney.

Yes, I am watching it right now! I have always wanted to see Disney decorated for Christmas, so this is the next best thing to being there!

My husband woke me up by unwrapping a blank VHS tape (which for some reason was in the bedroom) "What you doing?" "Opening a tape to tape the Disney Parade for you". awwww

Naturally I jumped out of bed to watch.

On the Food Channel today they are showing "Holidays at Walt Disney Resorts" at 5pm eastern.

That Modern Marvels show was just unbelievable. I did not know it was going to be two whole hours. Woot!

It was a great parade! I had to wait to see it until 5, for some reason the Orlando area showed it late. (maybe because the locals knew it wasn't live)

OOooOOooOO That Modern Marvels: WDW that was on the History Channel last night is going to be released to DVD on March 28th Woot! On Amazon it looks like it'll be about $17.00

Did anyone tape the Christmas Day Parade yesterday? Our ABC affiliate station didn't show it and we were really looking forward to seeing it. If you taped it and there is a possibility I could have a copy, please send me a private message.

We were in an area where they didn't show it either. I complained to the station and I heard back from them today. Evidently they can't preempt regular ABC programming with ABC programming?!?! That's what they said. In our time zone if they had shown the parade it would have preempted another ABC regular programmed show. They said ABC refused to prefeed the show so they could show it at another time. They also said they were forwarding all complaints to ABC in hopes they would agree to prefeed in the future in situations like that. I was sick about it because we just gotten back the day before and had looked forward to watching the parade to feel like we had extended our stay one more day!

I know how you feel! Anytime we can feel like we're there is a good time! We taped last year's but lost it due to a digital problem. We were all set to record this year with DVR and a back up VCR. And then...no parade! We'll send in our complaint to our station though it doesn't look like it will do us any good this year! Guess we'll keep looking for someone who did record it. Thanks for the information!

Our local stations scheduled the parade to be shown at 3:00AM. I fell asleep without programming the VCR. I'd love to borrow a tape if someone has one available.
