Have you seen these????
There are pictures here of some of the Disney characters in New York City. My friend tracked them down last week in Central Park - she lives nearby and said she saw Cinderella and Prince Charming taking a carriage ride through the park. It was all random sightings. They took pictures with people at all the touristy spots around town. There are pictures of M&M shopping for Christmas presents. My favorite is the little girl kissing Dopey on the nose. IT'S SO CUTE!!!!!

has anyone else heard about this or seen this happen where you're from?

The characters were going around NYC to celebrate Mickey's 75th Birthday. They started out the day on the sidewalk outside Regis & Kelly.

Cool!!
It is so Funny, to see them out in the real world, instead of in *their* world!!!

I thought you meant yesterday during the "Today" show--people were donating toys to Toys for Tots (Mr. McFeely and Donald Trump were collecting them) and almost everyone had some sort of Disney plush toy!!
