Disney channel games 2009 dates???

We went last year to the concert-you do need tix for that. we didn't even bother going to the "games" portion which is produced more as a show than actual games. The concert was a blast and it was fun to see all the videos and footage on tv-saying "There we are!!" of course we couldn't suu "us" anywhere.

The crowds at parks are not a factor during this time. We did run into an event at EPCOT unexpectedly and we caught a glimpse at all the Disney stars as they were going into the event. Very cool.

Yes, we are hoping it is easy to get tickets this year as well for the concert. My daughters love to go get autographs, etc. It is lots of fun, but last year you couldn't really see any of the games because of they way the tents were set up around the field.

We've been the past 2 years as well and although the first year was more fun and less crowded, my kids had a ball this past year too. We went for tapings and for the concert. BTW we also went for the Parade taping this past weekend and were front row for all 4 singing acts and Osjah got a high 5 and a hand shake from Miley... so her life at 9 is complete... I have tons of pics if anyone wants to see, PM me.

I was lucky enough ( cough cough choke) for 2008 to get to stalk them all with my 14 year old daughter for the whole time! We met up with the Jonas brothers a few times and she also got her pic takin with 22 of the stars! All being very nice except a few I will not mention but they were boys (little) Selena Gomaz is the nicest girl. I just today booked again for end of april /may ... we will see if its that time again this year and my daughter makes me stalk them all again !! LOL

Hi! There were no tickets required for the daily tapings at Disney Channel Games 2007 or Disney Channel Games 2008.Champion Stadium at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex was open to anyone who wanted to attend.Tickets WERE required to attend the 2007 DCG Concert and the 2008 DCG Concert.The tickets were free for both Concerts.2008 DCG Concert tickets were first made available to Passholders on March 19 and to WDW Cast Members on March 24.2008 DCG Concert tickets were made available to the General Public at disneychannelgames.com and dcgames2008.com on March 29.DCG 2007 was taped April 24-27 and DCG 2008 was taped April 28- May 3.My best GUESS is that DCG 2009 will be taped April 27-May 2,but that is ONLY a guess.There is no way to know,at this point,how or exactly when DCG 2009 will be taped.The ONLY thing we know for sure at this time,from information describing the Disney Channel Training With The Stars Sweepstakes,is that there WILL be a DCG 2009 and it will be taped at Walt Disney World,with the taping anticipated to be in April.

OHHHH MY!!!!! My preteens are going to freak, I accidently booked for that exact time, we are April 24th-May 2nd!

We will have to see what we can do.

I understand that the tickets are avaliable on those website, but what will the process be? Can anyone prepare me?

I also understand that the games are open and no tickets required, but do you just go over there and stand in line, or how does that work.

I have HONESTLY never real seen this but I know my daughter talks about it ALL the time when it is played on the TV, so I am guessing this will interest her!

We really don't know what the procedure wil be for DCG 2009 Concert tickets distribution at this time.Actually,we don't even know if there will be a Concert(although the liklihood is very great).For the daily tapings,Champion Stadium is open to anyone and,at DCG 2007 and 2008,there were PLENTY of stadium seats to sit in.You just walk right in.Sometimes the DC Stars would come over to the "rail" and sign autographs when they weren't busy taping.The dates of your trip look promising,BUT the ONLY thing we know at this point is that there WILL be a DCG 2009 at WDW,with the taping anticipated to be sometime in April.

No,but be watching the Totally New Year programming on Disney Channel Tonite.DCG 2008 was confirmed during the Happy U Year programming last New Year's Eve(no dates were announced)so there may be a chance something concerning DCG 2009 could be announced Tonite.

I did not watch all of the Totally New Year programming last night,but I only saw one reference to the Disney Channel Games.During one part,Brenda Song was wearing her Medal form Disney Channel Games 2008 and Alyson Stoner commented on her wearing it,but that was all that was said.Did anyone see anything else?Thanks.

No,there isn't really any OFFICIAL new news. There is a new entry on Wikipidia that lists the "air" dates for DCG 2009 this Summer.It also says Fans will be able to vote on which events they would like to be in DCG 2009 starting in late February.The entry does NOT list the dates for the actual taping.I have NO idea how accurate this information is.
