Just as an FYI, Radio Disney is currently holding a contest where the winner can hang out with the Jonas Brothers during the DC Games. The Grand Prize is described as follows:

The winner of the Sweepstakes ("Winner") will receive a five (5) day / four (4) night trip for four (4) persons (Winner, one Parent and two other guests) ("Family") to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL ("City"), April 30-May 4, 2008, to attend The Disney Channel Games ("Event") at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex ("Trip"). Here the Family will have an opportunity to meet ("Meet and Greet") the Jonas Brothers ("Artists"). The Grand Prize consists of the following elements for the Family: [1] room accommodations (one (1) standard room) with a maximum of four (4) persons per room at a deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotel for four (4) nights; [2] four (4) five-day Magic Your Way passes with Park Hopper option, including admission to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park; [3] admission for four (4) persons to the Event; [4] one (1) Meet and Greet for the Family with the Artists at the Event; [5] one (1) Disney Gift Card with a value of five hundred ($500) dollars; [6] if the Winner resides more than 250 miles from the City, round trip coach air transportation for four (4) between a major metropolitan airport in the U.S. nearest to the Winners residence ("airport of origin") and the Orlando International Airport; and [7] airport / hotel transfers in the City. There are no other prizes.​

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! For letting us know that the dates have been "officially" announced. I am not online one day and of course that is when they announce it. We are AP holders. How do we request the concert tickets? Does anyone have an idea who the other performers are? We were hoping for Miley Cyrus. I don't think DH can sit through the Jonas Brothers and Cheetah Girls. The 3D Best of Both Worlds movie was enough for him. What do they do at the FanFest? Is it open to the public?

Update: Found our APs and just sent in our concert tickets request. I am so glad they changed the amount we could get from 4 to 6. We are a family of 5 and that would have made it difficult if we couldn't get 5 tickets. Good luck everyone!

I read on another thread that you can take a bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to WWoS. That was the only option. Is that true?

I received my ticket confirmation about 2 hours ago. The choices were seats or stand in the field up near the stage. I requested stand up near the stage tickets and got them.

She also clarified that this is 6 tickets per household, not per passholder. Both my husband and I sent emails, we have different last names, and we did not give our address in the emails, so they do look you up.

There are a vast array of Disney transportation options to and from Disney's Wide World of Sports-bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Wide World of Sports and vice-versa and bus from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Wide World of Sports and vice-versa. Seriously,that's it-there is only one route.When leaving WWoS,if DHS has closed for the night,the bus from WWoS goes to DTD.The only other options are car or taxi.The parking lot was PACKED,PACKED,PACKED last year.

Yes,I received confirmation today! Last year the tapings were basically on and off for most of the morning/afternoon.You could basically stay there all day if you wanted to.The Champion Stadium concessions stands were open as well as the merchandise shop(surprise,surprise ).I think more information as to what events will be held on which days,etc.may be forthcoming the closer it gets to the DCG.As for being an "extra" I would suggets that you send an e-mail requesting that information the the same address that is being used for ticket requests and they can probably provide you with some information as to whether that would be possible.

I am a LITTLE concerned that Miley was not announced as a performer at the DCG Concert.However,I will be totally shocked if she doesn't participate-it just would not seem right if she wasn't there.She was SO nice last year.My theory is that the "surprise performers" will be Miley AND Billy Ray Cyrus. FanFest was announced on LaughingPlace and has not been announced by Disney,so nothing is official.There was no other information as to what it would entail,but I would guess it would be a picture/autograph opportunity with the Stars open to everyone.There was nothing like that last year-autographs were on a "get them when you can basis".Also cameras were not allowed into Champion Stadium,but I saw several devices that looked a lot like cameras in the Stadium.

We went to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert a couple of weekends ago in Houston. Miley sang with her Dad. It was very sweet. Since then, I have heard nothing but HM/MC music playing upstairs. Our kids are BIG fans. Even our two year old went to the concert and had a ball. He calls her Montana. Keeping my fingers crossed that she will at least participate. If she's at the concert, that will be an extra bonus.

hello! quick question... we're coming down to disney for the DCG filmings this year. birthday treat! are cameras not allowed for the concert? or for the filmings? i'm not a big autograph person.. but i'd love to get pics with some of the "stars" ... i saw quite a few floating around last year. is it possible to get to them for pictures? thank you!!
