Just in.. The Raven Symone tour Mitchel was opening for has been cancelled. The tour overlapped the games, and was why he wasn't going to participate. I don't know if this will affect his participation or not?

I sent an email to the new address this morning (might not have a sitter for the new baby now and dont want to disappoint our 5 year old) and very quickly rec'd the following reply back:

Christine-

You can bring in toys for the kids to play with, but there is very little space - the stadium will be jam packed.

Strollers are not allowed into the stadium. Stroller parking will be outside the actual stadium. My biggest concern is bringing a 2 month old - the noise is deafening and may in fact harm their hearing.

ok here is the news I received from a disney rep who is fully involved in the games. There is no fanfest That wednesday in dhs is a parade with disney celebs. Friday is tbd pending what they need to do. There will be no actual autograph photograph ops unless you goto the field and like others had said, prepare for a long day with lots of down time. lxh11 is top notch and knows what is going on. Anymore news, I will bring to you. Prepare for info to come out as soon as tonight. Thanks and I apologize for not being around. I will swing in tonight and def be back tomorrow. I have not check my email or anyones myspace yet, I will post any results. Thanks again.

LXH11 thanks for the detailed information. This really helps us plan out our days. While a parade is no fan fast, it still sounds like a unique thing to be able to see and we have already planned on hanging out at WWOS for the taping on Thursday. We will hopefully be able to say hi when we pick up our tickets on the 30th! Thanks!!!

Thanks LXH11!! You just made my day!! I was trying to figure out how to do both the parks and seeing the stars, and you just solved that for me. My daughter will be thrilled to just be able to see the stars in the parade. Are they doing the regular parade route, or is there a specific route just for this. Just don't want to be in the wrong place and miss everything. Thanks a bunch!!

Oh, and can you pleeeeaaaase give me a small hint if a very popular teenage girl with the initials MC will be in the parade? That's who my daugther wants to see most!!

I have been reading along this thread waiting for information. We will be down there during this time and I know my girls would love to see the DC stars. I didn't get concert tickets but the parade will thrill them. They don't know anything about it going on while we are there, I didn't want to bring it up and have them disappointed if nothing worked out. Thanks all of you for your great information.

Wow everyone, thanks for the info. I guess it's just Old Town for me on Wednesday then, since I have no money for DHS! Then all day Thursday at the games, and Friday, hopefully something will be going on for us to do!
