Disney Channel Games 2008???

An extra isn't all fun. Long hurry up and wait. Extras, sometimes also known as seat fillers (depending upon the project) fill empty seats, so that that it looks like a full house!

Last year extras were able to be on the field, this year, with the overwhelming requests for tix, may mean they sit in the bleachers and only hear the concert.

We try to look after our Extras, as they play an important part in so many of our productions. However, in return, we ask for discretion and professionalism as they ultimately become part of our "show".

I will not get in line early. I am a seat ticket people...I will spend all day with the lovely ticket office personnel :)

extra huh...that could be fun if there were fringe benefits...
I could be discreet and professional, and part of the show. :)

Oh dear, 3500? I was NOT expecting that.

Excuse me while I go cry.

I mean study, for my mythology exam that I have tomorrow.

They must be putting the stage A LOT further away than last year, or we are going to be serious sardines on that field.

lxh11, I just have a brief question, if you can help me here. We're travelling from out of the US, arriving this Saturday. I had all my days planned before finding out about the DCG, and was REALLY lucky to get seat tickets for my kids. It's still a surprise, but they're going to flip out!
Anyway, I would like to know, if possible, if you can confirm the parade at DHS on 04/30 at 2:15 pm, because in that case I will need to work around my itinerary since we were not planning to go to DHS that day, and I still have some time before we leave this Saturday.
The other question, just because of curiosity, and since you mentioned before that you were filling envelopes, how do you place the seats?

Thanks for your information.

very excited for all of this
its all new to me

in case lxh isnt still on. i was told by a very reputable source that seats were assigned by when you requested them so it doesnt matter when you pick them up.

the parade is confirmed by lxh11. there is no fan fest. lxh11 is a VERY reliable source and has been gracious enough to inform the members of this board.
seats are assigned by the order they came into the disney reps.

Thanks for letting me know. So I guess I have to go back to the drawing board and make some changes. My kids will love to see that parade.:yay: I was just hesitant to move things around because I didn¡t know if this was really official. But it sure looks like lxh11 has been really helpful here. If it weren't for this boards, I would've never found out about the Parade. :thumbsup2

There are over 9500 SEATS at Champion stadium...plus the 3500 on the field...that's 13000 people!

This is not looking good for me, not at all.

I'm so glad you got tickets! :cool1: We leave in less than 4 days! :dance3:

Is the ticket office at WWOS easy to find? I've never been there. I guess we'll go pick them up before heading to DHS on Sunday.

And I have a question. We have seat tickets. My DS uses a wheelchair. Will they be able to give us either wheelchair seating or an aisle (we can carry him down the steps)?

The ticket office is easy to find. I dont know about the wheelchair seating - did you note that in your email request for tickets. It asked about any special requirements and I am pretty sure thats why. We inquired about bring a stroller only and were told no strollers were allowed in the stadium

No, I didn't think about it. Should I send an email to the lady that send the ticket form?

Denise, I think we even have the same dates, or almost the same. We'll be there 04/26-05/05.
We do! We are picking the kids up from school early on Friday to drive down. We're at the CR from April 25-April 30 and the BC from April 30-May 4. If you spot my kids, make sure to stop me and say hello!:goodvibes

I would email her and the new wdwbroadcast email address that sarah17 reposted a couple of pages back. Its better to be on the safe side

We'll be staying off-site, but a party of 15 people, with 2 strollers, plus 1 double stroller, all in matching t-shirts (well only 3 days ;) ) may be easy to spot. I will be on the watch too.

"I will be at the DC Games. I was very lucky that Disney has done everything they can to get me there! I am very excited to go and represent my team.

By the way, the teams don't know who they are until we get there so if anyone is posting teams and colors....they are just guessing.

PEACE-OUT!
Mitchel"
