Disney challenge bucket list

I have done the 4 parks in 1 day several times and one 24 hour event.

However, I have a lot to do!:

- Stay at the Grand Floridian
- Eat at all the restaurants on property :O
- Rent a boat at one of the resorts or do some sort of water activity (haven’t seen anyone mention this here!)
- Attend a dapper day event (have been at the parks the last 2 times they’ve had one, but never dressed up as it was a last-minute trip & I was unprepared)

Just a quick FYI if there isn't any delay with your ADR, it still takes about an hour to do the breakfast. Not because service is slow but mostly because you get so immersed in everything going on you forget you are supposed to be eating food

I bet, we are really looking forward to this breakfast. We have a 9:10 reservation with FP+ for 3 rides, plan on leaving HS by 1. Thinking we can take the boat over the Boardwalk and enter Epcot thru International Gateway. Do a couple of things on our walk up to the front. We can then head either back to our resort which is AKL or straight to Animal Kingdom. Our dinner reservation is at 8:05 and MK is open until 2am.

I hope we can manage all of this, I know it will be allot to accomplish, but luckily the next day I have us sleeping in, possibly heading to a water park for a bit. And heading to Magic Kingdom around 6 or 7.

Fingers crossed we are up to accomplishing this, also my kids are 13 & 18 so no little ones in tow that would possibly slow us down.

This year I'd really like to go to most of the (not hard-ticketed) special events, like F+W, F+G, Star Wars Weekends...I live 20 minutes away but it's pretty hard to make time in college.

I'm also hoping to stay in Florida next summer and work a seasonal position at WDW.

It is completely doable. I did it mostly on my own with a 6yo while DH spent the day at DHS this past Saturday and it included the SWW Sci Fi breakfast - and also a 2 hour nap in the early evening! It helped that MK was open until 1am and our Sci Fi ADR was late enough that we could do AK EMH first thing. Though we did get right back up at 8:30am the next morning to use the resort pool, then be able to get showered & changed before heading out to DTD and our 8 hour drive home. Our motto of the weekend was "We'll sleep when we're dead." My 6yo was excited to do this and didn't have any complaints or meltdowns - nothing but big smiles as we left MK at 1am. We missed a few rides that we'd wanted to do because of long standby times, but we got plenty of rides and character meet & greets in.

Amass a small fortune so we can afford to go again :lmao:

All TS is what I am working on now (about 5 left to go).

Also hoping to stay at all the DVC resorts, but we somehow keep going back to a select few so not sure about that one.

DCL (hoping for next year when DD is 3)

Wild Africa Trek or similar at AK

ETA: visit DL paris, which we have planned for 2015 :)

I'd like to
  • attend a SWW (June 2015)
  • attend a MNSSHP (Oct 2015)
  • attend a MVMCP (Dec 2014)
  • eat at all TS restaurants
  • Be in WDW on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Sounds like you have a fun adventurous 6yo! Told my DH and one of our sons already so we are pumped to do this. Glad ya'll had such a great day!

I started with a long Disney bucket list. Some I have accomplished and some I have not.

Accomplished:
- Stay onsite
- Free dining
- Go to F&W
- Eat at every F&W booth
- Go to F&G
- Drink around the world
- Take my son on his first trip
- Enter MK before opening
- Go on Characters in Flight balloon

Still on the list:
- Stay deluxe
- MVMCP (tickets for this year!)
- MNSSHP
- Use extra magic hours
- Have my son's first haircut at Harmony Barbershop (scheduled for this year)
- Visit the water parks
- 4 parks in one day
- Visit every Disney park in the world
- Try a waffle sandwich and jalapeño pretzel
- BTMRR during fireworks
- Try every restaurant
- Wild Africa trek
- Behind the seeds tour

I'm sure I could list a million if I had enough time!

I live in L.A. and I have this fantasy - it will probably NEVER happen - but I'd love to hit all SIX domestic parks in one day. It would involve going to the first WDW park at early entry, hopping quickly to each of three remaining WDW parks, getting on a non-stop flight to LAX, hopping in a cab, and hitting both DL parks. This would only work on a day when a WDW park opened at 8:00 and the DL parks closed at midnight or later.

Like I said, this will likely NEVER happen, but, dang. It would be something.

My DD and her BFF are doing just this but in reverse!
She's almost in Orlando now...in just over 6 hours she and her friend will be at rope drop in MK and approx 9+ hours later head to the ap for their flight to LAX ....they will play there all night and into the next day taking the red eye home in the wee hours of Sunday morning!!

Only 1 thing on my bucket list- to make it to park opening with my bunch who are not morning people, me included.

Mine is to stay at all of the Moderate and Deluxe resorts (CL) at WDW at least once ... The Poly is the only one we have left to try.

I have quite a list:
  • visit all the international parks
  • go on a Disney cruise
  • visit the water parks
  • stay at a deluxe resort
  • go on a tour
  • try a signature restaurant
  • run all the runDisney events
  • see the resorts decorated for Christmas
  • watch MK fireworks on New Year's Eve
  • use the deluxe dining plan

Every time we go to Disney I want to add an extra day to the next trip because I'm always finding new things I want to see or do but I don't want to give up my current favorites either! Our first trip 2 years ago was 3 nights and our last one was 6 nights, at this rate soon I'll need Disney to build apartments in the resorts so I can rent by the month!

Lots of great answers!

I guess I should answer my own question.

Bucket list:
4 parks 1 day
Eat at all QS and TS
Take all the DW tours
Visit water parks
Stay at all resorts
Visit all DW parks including international
Go on a Disney destination vacation
Disney cruise
Go to F & G, mvmcp, & Star Wars weeks
Meet and get autographs for all characters
Drink around the world in one day

Besides going to all 4 parks in 1 day, I want to attend Food and Wine and Flower and Garden at Epcot, have tea at the Grand Floridian, run in a Disney 1/2 marathon and try every attraction at least once!

I had a pretty big bucket list and I have actually accomplished a lot or am at least working through some.

Accomplished:

Become a DVC owner
Stay in a savannah view at AK (have done now 4x)
Get engaged at Disney/honeymoon at Disney
Do keys to the kingdom tour
Take my little brother (he's 11 and has mild autism)
MVMHP/MVMCP
See Christmas parade
See castle dream lights
See the castle/visit WDW
Rode ToT 20 times in 1 day
Attend Star Wars Weekends

Remaining:

Visit every Disney park around the world(have done WDW/DL/DL Paris)
Stay at GF (doing this in Sept)
Stay over Christmas/NYE(completing this year)
Have a vow renewal at Disney
See the castle dream suite
Work at Disney (have to wait til retirement in like 30yrs)
Take a Disney Cruise
Visit Aulani (hoping 2016)
Take an Adventures by Disney
Stay at all of the Disney resorts (values are done, only have POR for mods, and have done 4 deluxe)

I'm sure there are more for each list but that's all I can think of at the moment.
