No, not Sprint! Oh well, I also wish it could have been anyone else. I love my cingular service. Maybe they will be very smart and offer ringtones to all moblies they would make a killing if they did.

I have cingular with internet access that has disney ringtones and wall paper. I have mickey's voice on mine (I'm a pal mickey freak) and my daughter has the mickey mouse march as her ring tone.

I have sprint (and have had it for 9 years!) and love my service. I even love that since I have been a long time customer I get little extras every year for free.
I wonder if the phones themselves will have special disney touches.

Sprint and nextel are merging. I believe sprint bought them out. That is probably why the deal went to sprint.

I am really disappointed with the Disney ringtone site...they have a ton of graphics and ringtones (even games) but absolutely none are compatible with my phone (LG A7110)! I can get quite a few Disney ringtones and graphics through Cingular, but it seems like all the ones I want are out of reach! Luckily Cingular has the "create your own graphic" thingee and I've got a dozen stitch backgrounds now!

I thought I read that Disney would do their own customer service, etc., that Sprint would just provide the service. so as long as the network is good, it shouldn't bother you guys that Sprint is the provider...

I did a test market survey about Disney Mobile 2 weeks ago. I am a long time Verizon customer, but if this service is a good as they make it sound, I'll jump in a minute. The extras they will be offering are outstanding and I have not seen them offered by anyone else. I've been checking Sprint's plans and they seem to be better than what I have now.

I am really surprised to hear so much bashing about Sprint.

I (My wife) has had them here in Texas for the last 8 years and they have been excellent.

A company I used to work for used every carrier known to man and we ended up with Nextel.

I have Fantasmic as a ringtone - I love it!! (My DH ringtone on my phone is the Figment song!!)

I have a motorola V551 w/ Cingular - I found this site where you can convert & download ringtones if you can find them on mp3 - it costs $10 I think, but it's unlimited downloads - (and not yucky spyware or anything) www.freeringers.net

It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but it was easy after that!

A lot of us here in Florida are upset with Sprint because of their agressive moves to try and drastically increase their prices for home phone service. Charlie Crist is the only one down here working to prevent that from happening.

I live here in FL and have Sprint as my local, long distance (since 1991), DSL(since 2003) & PCS (since 1996) & have no problems. There are places where if I allowed my phone to go into rome, I would have service, but I don't....so I do have places where there is no service. I have found their customer service to be very nice 99.9% of the time & they are't trying to raise my landline services.

You sure about that? They were very aggressive in working to raise Floridians rates earlier this year, and have now regrouped to begin another assault on our wallets. Watch the news REALLY close in the coming months. While they have failed in their initial thrust to raise rates, they are not giving up and they will begin another campaign to get a lot more money out of us!
