OK GUYS......MY DAUGHTER ALMOST NO. 2'D HER PANTS WHEN I TOLD HER THAT RAVEN(FROM DISNEY CHANNELS 'THATS SO RAVEN') WAS ON THE SHIP. AND THE VOICE OF TIMON AND THE DOG ON TEACHERS PET, TOO. SHES STARSTRUCK WITH THE TEENS ON DISNEY CHANNEL. LIZZIE MCGUIRE IS THE COOLEST SAYS MY 4 YEAR OLD. ANYWAY, IS THERE A WAY TO FIND OUT WHO WILL BE ON AS A GUEST? IF NOT, DO THEY LET YOU KNOW ONCE ONBOARD IF THEY ARE SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS FOR KIDS OR TAKING PICS? IF SO, DO THEY SELL DIAPERS FOR 4 1/2 YEAR OLD? SHE WILL FOR SURE NO. 2 IF THERE IS A DISNEY CHANNEL KID STAR

Nathan Lane ( Timon ) is scheduled to be on the Magic? When?

He's doing a limited time "encore" gig with Matthew Broderick in the Producers right now. I believe until end of March. Tickets sold out so quick, they're hoping they'll extend. I hope so too. I want to see them!

Maria - I had to laugh when I read your post. Emily (3 1/2) was begging me this morning to let The Wiggles and Rolie Polie Olie on the ship (as if I have control). She hasn't found Raven or Lizzie yet - she's still starstruck on the Playhouse Disney folks (and of course, the Princesses!)

No problem, mariamard - I'd still be "star struck"! Not one of those to run up and chat or get an autograph, I just stare and smile.

We were at Dulles and my oldest was about 9 when we was James Earl Jones walking toward us. The Conan movie was out and JEJ played a ruler who could turn into a huge snake. So as we are walking toward eachother - Chris yells, "Mommy, that's the man that turns into a snake!"
JEJ smiled so widely. I wanted to crawl under the chairs! But he knew it was recognition from a child and that smile was the reward.

So whomever is or isn't on the ship, I do know that I'd still stand in awe and smile!

If it is Pumba, keep him away from my shrimp!

LMBO! Your too funny Rae! We went to LionKing Broadway over this past weekend, and omg, Pumba was too cute, they had this feet literally dangling behind him as he walked. I couldnt stop laffing at that!
He'll eat your shrimp and more! Ahh!

Oh man, Lion King and Beauty and the Beast are my two favorite Disney movies.. You oughta watch for tickets if they come by your town for this Broadway...
Words dont even begin to describe how awesome this show was Sat night Rae... I took my kids to the Nutcracker in Dec and gag! LOL~We all was bored to death, but...
this LionKing was IT! The characters' voices and costumes were out of this world! IMHO!

trying to talk hubby into another trip. im thinking of your dates of the birthday cruise. watch out! dh MIGHT out eat you and veranda man when it comes to shrimp. the mental picture of the 3 of you beating the !@#$%&^*!!!! out of each other over the last shrimp is pretty funny!

Not so funny when you think of the conclusion, two men crying and me pigging out with the bowl of shrimp in my lap and a glass of Mango Tango in my hand!!!!!!!

And by the way, you don't have to be FAMOUS to everyone to be a Disney Celeb ---

For example, we were cruising with Jennifer and Dave, co-authors of the Passporter in May. What wonderful people!!!! Also, who wouldn't want to meet inkognito (Barb) and Tony, or verandahman (Andy), or any one of a number of people we "chat" with regularly on this forum!!!

Yes, we have our own little group of celebrities and quite honestly, I'd rather meet some of them than the known ones!!!

For all those considering seeing the Lion King play...SEE IT, SEE IT, SEE IT!!!
We saw it on Sunday for the second time. We originally saw it on an outing with the Museum of Science & Industry, where we are members. After the show, we had an opportunity to chat with some of the cast, which was really interesting. That was back in April 2003, and we loved it so much that we immediately bought tickets to see it again. The museum seats were second row balcony, and we wanted to be on the main floor & as close as possible, so we had to buy tickets for January, 2004. It was just as great the second time around as the first.
If you've seen it, the Lion King number in the Golden Mickeys will remind you of it.
