Anyone know what's happened at the Disney Careers website? I check (and dream!) the website several days a week to see if there are any potential job postings that fit my skill set...lately there have been over 100 pages of job listings for the United States. Today there are only 6 pages.....very curious......

the extra unemployment money was taking away. Maybe Florida already took it away just guessing. Plus I think some of the extensions are no longer. People are now going back to work. Some states have already took it away. Two federal unemployment benefits were taking away on Labor Day. Just google Florida unemployment seems thousands of Floridians have lost all their unemployment pay. Meaning they will have to go back to work.

I seem to think the reason is that the postings remain up for a certain amount of time to get an applicant pool to draw from. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the positions have been filled. Also it is difficult to tell how many positions were actually open.

I'm seeing 154 pages of postings. Maybe it was a glitch, and if so hopefully someone they hire can fix it.

Actually, considering the HUGE worldwide company that it is, there will be many departments and positions. With the phased reopenings, it will take some time to fill the positions. But it is good news that they are doing so.

It was probably an IT glitch. As for filling posititions, its not gonna happen. The front line work force that was lost during the pandemic for most entry level industries isnt coming back.

Every once in a while you could pull up the website as they are updating. Sometimes updating can take a few hours. Sometimes they put up a "currently updating" page. Sometimes they just leave up a few pages.
