Disney Car Care Drop Off

We are looking to rent a car through Disney Car Care Center for only a portion of our stay.

The information I have found says that the Car Care Center is only open until 5:00 PM. We would like to drop off our car at 9:00 PM because it would be more convenient (for us) rather than waiting until the morning.

Is this possible to drop off a car when they are closed? And if so, would I be correct in thinking that the shuttles will not be running if the Car Care Center is closed?

Hi, the Car Care Center is open until 8 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends. And, you are correct, the shuttles will not be running when it is closed. However, you can also drop the car at the Dolphin Hotel, where I understand that Bell Services is authorized to accept cars after hours.

Remember that the car is not "received" by the rental company until the counter opens the next day.

Depending on when you pick up that could be an extra day. For example you pick up the car at 9 PM and return it to the Dolphin the next day at 9 PM. One day, BUT... since the rental car company doesn't "receive" the car until 9 AM the next day they may charge you for an extra day.

Thanks all for your responses. Everyone brings up good points and solutions.

I do know that technically I am could keep the car until the morning because I'm paying for the full day, but to drop it off at night and not have to worry about it in the morning when I should be at rope drop will be worth it

I looked at the price difference of if I rented at the Car Care Center and dropped off at the Dolphin, and it was a little more than $100 more. Yep, not going to work.

I have a lot of options I can try out now, but probably best to call and book rather than try to figure it our online.
