Disney cancelled PofC FP+...

I just got an email saying that my FP+ for Pirates next week was cancelled "due to a change in schedule". Anyone know what that is all about? I thought it was not going down for rehab until later on - like maybe May. Are they closing it earlier??

I really hope it's not down for its refurb already. I'll be pretty bumbed if it's down next Friday. There's nothing as far as I can see on any refurb lists, so here's to hoping you get your FP back and it's just a fluke!

There's a thread from this weekend I think where random MK FP+ were being cancelled. It turned out to be a system/IT glitch. Some people were calling a number, not tech support, to get it resolved. I don't know if anyone got theirs fixed without calling. Trying looking back in the previous threads.

Oh my I was about to cry reading this thinking it may go down early. I am crossing my fingers and toes that it will still be up and running on our first day in early May. I have a whole pirate theme planned for our first day and it just won't be complete without going on POTC.

We did a day like that. It was really cool to have a themed day.
Pirates Adventure works better in the evening, in case you weren't aware.

With how often that ride is going down recently, I wouldn't plan on riding it on any trip coming up. They really should do the refurb sooner, but it may be an issue of a part or something they need not being available until later on.

Ah! Thank you! This is DH's favorite ride! He'd have been bummed if it were closed during our trip.
