I see our cake thread got lost in the shuffle.

I ordered a cake last year for my older daughter and now we are going back in April for my youngest and I want to order one for her. We are going to Goofy's Kitchen and I want to call that number again. Does anyone have it purty please?

TIA!!:goodvibes

Thanks for that but I think there was a specific number. I remember when we had that big thread about all the special cakes did you see that post? It seems like they had a special number that was seperate from disney dinning. It was like a catering number or something or like a special services number. I should have written it down darn it. I even just tried to a do a search for that thread but I can never get that search function to work. But they have a special number I am pretty sure where you call to order baskets sent to the room and to have these special cakes made.

Thank you for giving me that number but I am pretty sure it is a different one though. Thanks though! :)

Ok I just looked on the site under birthdays and what I need is the number for vacation planning anyone?

I found the info for the cakes. Prices and such. Now I just need to find the number. :)

Kelmac you might want to check out GCH bakery. I ordered my second cake in Oct from them. It was CUTE. 2 Tier mad hatter style with Alice in wonderland themed. IT had a keepsake alice spining snowglobe on top that leaned with the cake lots of whimsy. It was 85 bucks but my gosh so much detail, and cake they gave and keepsake WELL WORTH IT. I'm ordering again in a couple of weeks for our 10 year Aniv. You can get one for less than 85. The pastery chef works the details out with you. I just asked for mad hatter style, with Alice whimsy theme and let them come up with it.

Thanks so much Wendy and Lost girls.

Say Lost girls did you eat it AT Storytellers though? We are eating at Goofys Kitchen. I wonder if we could get a cake at GCH bakery at Goofys?

Thanks guys!!

We ordered a 10th anniversary cake through VP about a month ago. They did an excellent job with the decorations.....tons of really, detailed flowers that were all edible. Someone spent some serious time on those babies! We had the yellow cake with the strawberry and creme filling. It was REALLY rich, so with that being said we only ate it the one night and did not keep it around.

I know what you mean. My daughter's cake was WAY too rich and WAY too big. We ordered the 10 inch and it was HUGE and we ended up leaving it at the restaurant. But I really want a nice one for dd because she has watched her other two sisters get parties and it is FINALLY her turn. So I am excited to see what they can do! :)

The first ever cake order I did was from GCH, and was served at goofys. I picked it up at the grand and took it to goofys where they whisked it away until time to unveil it. Boy the looks and people who stoped us to ask if it was a cake was wild. It was an exact replica of cinderella LOVED IT. The Alice one DLH CL picked it up and had it waiting in our room. I'm sure they will work with you. Give them a good idea/direction you want to go in and let them at it lol. 1st cake was chocolate cake inside fondant outside, 2nd cake vanilla with white chocolate mousse, and fresh raspberries, fondant icing.

Those sound AWESOME. Although I wonder if you have to be staying on property! We aren't. I bet that makes a difference. I know last February I wanted to get a gift basket as well for my older dd and couldn't because you had to be staying on property for that. I WAS able to get the cake and we ate at Storytellers. I also notice they don't mention the tink figurine anymore. I sure hope they still have her as that is dd's FAV!

I don't think you have to stay on property, you just have to have the cake delivered to a Disney hotel restaurant.

Kel, I would call the Grand and ask for bakery when they connect you tell them it's a very special birthday, and you want something very tinkerbell NOT edible image they do those also, just say you really wabt the wow to tink and the themeing they do a gorgeous job FAR exceeded what I thought I would get. Just tell them VERY tink and let them create the magic. I'm also sure you could prob pick the cake up which they offered me that option. Make sure you call the grand directly about the cake or asked to be transferred to them.
