Disney...by Land and Sea...Morris Style!

Not a lot of updates so far...but I did manage to get my blog updated. Of course you have already read 99% of it here...

This morning has already been a bit strange...I have been awake since 2:30 and really could use a nap. But since today is therapy day, that is NOT going to happen! Then, tonight Miss B has a band concert, so not much napping going on tonight either!

At least I get to make a trip to Joann's today. I am working on a customer dress and since I changed the colors I didn't realize I no longer have any embroidery thread that will work, so while we are out and about for therapy, I have to take a trip there to pick up some thread and a few other items.....

Everyone have a great day!

Wow!!! A new pool... Sounds heavenly right about now... I hope you are able to make it work - now seems like a good time, rather than sinking $$ into something that you want to replace later anyways.

Hmmm... Which Disney trip are you going to give up? I'd do a fake one. LOL Lord knows, I have pleanty of those under my belt.

Wish you could get a nap today... I know the feeling - no coffee for me today.

Good luck to Miss B at her band concert tonight.

Have fun at Joann's - I hate it when that happens...

:)

Great minds think alike! I had the same thought - you will have to make up a trip and then "give it up" to get the pool. :thumbsup2 No worries anyway, your reformed Disney hating husband will have another trip in the works before you even get home in Oct.

I hope the Band concert and therapy went well yesterday.

You do have quite a bit of sewing coming up, including a quilt!!!! It would take me 6 months to get all that done. I can't wait to see the Easter dresses and picture dresses for the girls.

You should put that design of Heather's on the back of Miss B's shirt that says "My Mom Made Me Wear This Shirt". Sometimes we have done "coordinating" shirts and not matching. Like on our last trip everyone had a navy blue t-shirt with different Mickey designs in the same color fabric / thread. Or we have done girls in blue shirts with red designs and boys in red shirts with blue designs or have done different color shirts (and the same color shirts) each with our favorite characters. For HS I always just try to do a shirt that fits the theme of their favorite movie so we usually don't match on that day. I have used Heather's Mickey head peace sign for Casey's shirts and tried to do designs that were more tween. Of course I did make them change tshirts for Crystal Palace and Tony's to fit the theme but then let them change back again.

I think I am only going to make two shirts for the kids for our cruise. It is only a four day cruise (on the Magic in less then a month - YIKES) so I am planning on making them a shirt with a sailor Goofy and a sailor Pluto and then t-shirts for pirate night. Casey has an awesome pirate skirt that I made a few years ago for Halloween that she wore to the Pirate's League two years ago. I think I might be able to stuff her in there by redoing the waist band. I love that skirt so I hope she can fit into it again but I have a feeling she will just end up in a t-shirt. Dan and I have pirate shirts from our WDW trip this past year that we will wear. Other then that I am thinking about making a dress from the Lucy pattern but I'm not sure if I will get a chance. I am a bit stressed about our trip because I have no idea where we are staying/what we are doing before or after the trip. The kids want to go to Disney or Universal but it is not in the budget. We will probably just pick a hotel and hang out by the pool. Of course, my non-planning husband thinks we can just book the night before (like he always does for work) but that will not work for me. (Sorry for the hijack).

I think it will be nice for just the four of you to visit the parks together (for a longer trip this time). You need to share all of the details about your hotel too. AK Lodge sounds like an amazing place to stay.

I am STILL waiting on news from the pool financing people. They finally called me back last night...at 6:59. At that moment my phone was turned off because I was at church. I did not get the message until I got home at 9. I will attempt to call them back this morning... but since I know they work from home, I am doubting they would like it if I called at 5 AM!

Husband thinks I should...to let them know there is a reason people call 9-5 business hours!

Anyway, one way or another, the decision will be made by Friday. I am afraid that husband will get angry at them taking so long to get the paperwork to me to get it started that he will decide not to do it...no matter how good a deal they give us! Last night he was asking me how long I thought the current liner would last...his reasoning was that we didn't get to use the pool very much last year so it only makes sense (to him at least) that we should have more use out of it...no matter how much I tried to explain the liner did not care if we were in the pool or not... that its life span had nothing to do with how many times we got in the pool!

Joann's was interesting! I managed to find the exact color of thread I needed, and the fabrics for Miss Mia's Easter dress. I love the colors of the Tutti Fruitti line...and ended up with a selection of 5 different fabrics...now to decide what I am using and how!

OK...first of all...I have no problems with thread jacking!

I KNOW what you mean about no knowing where we are staying before we leave...it is NOT happening to us ever again! I think I shared my story of the 5 of us (plus our two dogs) traveling from El Paso, TX to Atlanta. It is 24 hours of straight driving, and Husband will not let me drive. We normally would leave at midnight and had a specific area we liked to stop at...it was not half way, but it was perfect place to stop since it had a great breakfast...but on our last trip home we left around noonish. So everything was 'off'. (Just for clarification, El Paso is in the armpit of Texas. You have to drive at least an hour in ANY direction to reach ANY civilization!)

Well on this trip, husband was going to try and make the whole trip without stopping. As we came into Mississippi we knew we were not going to be able to make it. So the first big town he came to we pulled off the interstate and looked for a place to stay. Unfortunately, there was some sort of festival going on and there were no rooms to be found ANYWHERE!

We got off at every exit...same story...

At this point we had been trying to find a place for over 2 hours.
Finally he found a place...they were the type place that rented by the HOUR... he was so tired he took it...against my better judgement! So we checked in at 3 am....the boys refused to stay in the room...they slept in the van with the dogs! I only wanted to take a shower...but I decided I would be cleaner if I didn't. (It was THAT dirty!)

I stripped the beds and put some sheets that I had in a box in the van (we were moving) The air did not work...and there was sounds of gunfire through out the night. I slept maybe two minutes all night. Husband slept like a baby and we left at 6 am!

After that...we NEVER leave the house without knowing where we are stopping!

The band concert was strange...it was a pre-festival concert. They normally have a couple different schools get together for it...and it lasts forever! But this one was just for our kids and since they only play 3 songs at festival it was very short! It actually started on TIME...and only lasted 20 minutes! They actually played much better than I thought they would. The last song they played was a bit...messy... but overall they did better than i expected.

Hmmmmm fake trip.... I wonder if that would work?

I have a ton of things to do and a short time to get them done ... so what did I do yesterday? I spent two hours in the studio and then left to go shopping at Trader Joe's with Miss Mia and her mommy.

I managed to get the Dumbo appliques done and cut out the complete dress. I am hoping to be able to get the majority of it put together today, and to finish it up tomorrow. I would like to have it ready to mail by Saturday, although I will probably wait until Monday (since I just realized she hasn't paid yet...ooops...I forgot to invoice!)

Miss Mia is talking up a storm now. Unfortunately, it is hard to understand most of what she says....and she has a temper...she gets VERY upset when you can't understand her! (she reminds me so much of her mother! LOL) She used to call her Mommy MumMum...and her Daddy Da da...now she calls her Daddy...Daddy and her Mommy Da da! And then she giggles!

Her favorite thing to say is Hi there! and All done! Especially when she takes her daily laxative. She will take half of it making faces and saying yucky...and then she starts the All Done....she takes a little swallow at a time...and talks after every swallow. (that is the only way mom can make sure she is actually swallowing. She hasn't learned to talk with anything in her mouth yet!)

After Mommy agrees it is all done...she claps and squeals and then does the sign for all done! Her mommy has been teaching her a modified version of signs... and I find it odd that her sign for me is the same as for milk...evidently Memaw sounds to her like milk... of course her sign for Grandpa is to reach for him... she doesn't call him anything except she sees him, reaches and then starts telling her mom and dad bye bye!

And then...I realized my ADR date is 8 weeks and not 6 weeks...which also puts my list of things to get finished also with a deadline of 8 weeks and not 6 weeks...so I guess that was my reasoning for spending the day with Miss Mia....

This Saturday is the one and only wedding planning session...for a wedding the first week of June! I am trying my best to not be a nagging mother in law to be...but this non planning thing is driving me crazy! I hyper ventilate just thinking about it! At this point the bride has not decided anything except for her dress. She bought that almost 2 years ago.

She has an idea what she wants and is convinced it will all fall together without any planning! I agree it should not be stressful to the bride...but it would at least help if she shared her vision with other members of the wedding party.

As of right now...we are still unsure as to if she wants Husband to wear a tux or not. My son wants Mr D involved int eh wedding, but we don't know how...not sure if it will mean a tux for him or not...and haven't even given a thought to what I am wearing.

How does the mother of the groom dress when the mother of the bride will be wearing biker leather? (as well as the father of the bride and the 'minister'......and ALL members of the bride's side?)

LOL! Since our side of the family does not drink, we have decided we will be leaving the reception early...so the rest of the guests can enjoy themselves fully! She has spent more money (and more planning) on the drinks than any other single part of the wedding!

OK...just re-read what I typed and it sounded a lot more judgmental than I meant for it to be. It is their wedding and it really doesn't matter to me if they do or do not have alcohol served. I just prefer to leave before too much alcohol is served....her family is part of a biker gang that my Husband has had the pleasure of dealing with before. I know it can get a bit ugly...especially when some of the guests realize who husband is...

She said that they are all promising to be on their best behavior...but I prefer not to take chances!

OK...now I am just sounding mean!

So back to Disney!

The income tax is in and I just paid off the February trip...which was pretty easy all things considered. We made a 4 day trip for a little over a thousand dollars! Now I have to wait for the payment to show on the card and then I pay off the cruise, then pay off the card...then pay off the Disney portion of the trip...then pay off that.

I know it is a bit crazy...but it is important for my husband to be able to see how each trip is showing up. and that each trip is paid off before the next portion is showing up.

At some point before we go in October I have to see how many points we have and decide if we will use it for this trip or hold off on a future trip...right now we have enough points to be able to get a nice dinner... or maybe a breakfast...I am thinking I would like a nice breakfast on my birthday.... and I am thinking CRT...since I have been there for lunch and dinner... but I know it will probably end up being Crystal Palace...

Everyone have a great day..I plan on staying nice and warm and dry in my studio today!

I am super happy that one dress is completed, and I think I might actually get some pictures of it today so I can send it on to its new owner!

I am not super happy that the pool people are taking so long to get back to me ... they now tell me it will be Tuesday before I hear... and now Husband is having second thoughts about the whole thing!

With him, if you don't act the moment he makes up his mind he will talk himself out of it! Even though he asks me every day if they have called me...I can see he is growing tired of the whole idea.

I am semi excited to go and talk wedding plans. I'll be leaving in a few minutes.

We have been having some family issues the past few days (as parents of any teen will tell you...it is NOT fun!) and I think I have decided I am tired of being the adult and want to play hookey...so I will probably take Monday off and do NOTHING!~

Hope everyone has a great weekend...and I am praying for warmer temps! The sun is very pretty, but I really think the temps should go along with it!

Disney cruise planning...

Mr D (age 12 ) is looking forward to the cruise like you would not believe! The reason is so that he can make new friends and NOT have to stay with us all the time. He keeps telling me he is not a baby and can have fun on his own (evidently going back to public school has made him so much more brave and independent!)

Miss B (age 13) does NOT want to even go on the cruise! The only way she will 'agree' to go (as if we have ever given her a choice!!!) is if we promise she does not have to get out of the cabin at all! I reminded her that the cabin will not be all that big and she has to get out at least for them to clean...she has not agreed to that yet (as if she has a choice!)

Dad can't wait to go to see all the FOOD! ('nuff said!)

Mom can't wait to go!!!! For so many reasons! I plan on having a multitude of books added to my kindle and seeing how many quiet spots I can find to read (without the kids finding me!) I admit I am not looking forward to anything specific at the port of Nassau, but Castaway Cay is high on my list!

Unfortunately, the Disney World portion of the trip seems to be getting longer and longer! It went from a three day with one park day...to 4 days with 4 park days...to 5 days...and now husband is talking a full week in Disney! Sure glad he is a Disney hater! I doubt I could afford it if he actually LIKED Disney!

I hope you hear back from the pool people soon, before DH changes his mind.

I know how you feel about teens... Sigh... It's always something...

I am glad that Mr. D is a little more confident... I am sure he will have a wonderful time on the cruise.

And I am positive that once Miss B realizes there are BOYS and a place for her to be with out her family - she will have a blast on the cruise. :thumbsup2

I would be on the ship for the food too. LOL

But I am not sure I could just sit on a ship and read... I am all about exploring. LOL

ROFL... Yup - I am glad that Rex is a Disney hater too... HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Josh was letting me watch the NEW Disney travel show the other night... And he actually PROMISED me that one day he would take me back to Disney (world and Land) - I made him promise both. LOL Soooo....

I have to publicly admit that a big portion of Mr D's improvement has to be going back to public school this year. As much as I HATED letting him go back, I see so much growth in him. Scholastically he is about the same as when he was home schooled, but he has made leaps and bounds in his social skills. (he even has 2 girlfriends...which we are having trouble explaining to him is unacceptable...one at a time!)

I was really scared at the beginning of the year, but the change in schools has made a big difference. He now has a teacher that sees he is not a behavioral problem student but a learning disabled student. Even the current principal could not believe the way he had been treated previously...

I am in the process of working on about 10 different projects at once. My Dumbo dress is ready to be mailed (but I need to go to the post office, since all my shipping supplies have mysteriously disappeared!). I have started Miss Mia's Minnie Mouse birthday dress, but once again I have to wait on her Mom to weigh in on exactly what she wants! I still need one more fabric to start cutting out Miss Mia's Easter dress, and I decided I don't like the fabric I started with on the girl's beach dresses for our beach trip. I have all the bags for my son's wedding to monogram! Wow! It was really hard to get them to decide on a font, but now that they have I can get started putting all those names together. Then, Miss B and I have decided the dress I am making (or in the case of my dress...remaking) for the cruise will be used for our Easter dresses as well.

Plus, we have decided to redo Mr D's room...meaning I have to make curtains and bedspreads ...as well as make the final decisions on the colors. I can't wait to finish it...it will be a take on the old Route 66. Antique car stuff with lots of 'garage' type accessories. I have been collecting ideas for this for over a year...and surprisingly he still wants to keep it!

But tomorrow's big news is... I get to take Miss Mia to therapy with me tomorrow! Her mom has a dentist appointment as well as a hair appointment...(why she made them on a Tuesday I have no idea!) So Miss Mia gets to go with us for the day! Should be interesting...she still has terrible separation anxiety when she is away from her mommy for very long.....

OK...enough rambling! I was supposed to be coming upstairs just to print something out and head back down...now that I am sitting here...well, I probably won't be getting back downstairs anytime soon!

Nini

Hmm...yesterday's big news was.... I did NOT get to take Miss Mia!

Seems her mommy has problems reading a calendar. MY calendar said it was the 26th... Mommy's calendar said yesterday... guess which one was right?

Anyway... was reading through the nifty cruise book I have (one of the Passporter series) and saw that to upgrade from our class to another higher class was only about $200. So I thought...why not?

I was all excited...until I realized the prices have gone up so much since last year when I booked it! It would actually be almost a thousand dollars to upgrade at this point! Nope, not going to happen...but I will be watching for an upgrade once we arrive.

Pretty upset about the pool people...they are not returning my calls, or emails, or those mental messages I am sending to them... I am thinking all the nice weather we have had the past week may have made them pretty busy and they are not sure they want my business. I will start looking at a different company and see if they are more receptive...

I took a trip to Joann's yesterday. Did not buy very much, and ONLY bought those items that were on sale. The total came to $65.....I was expecting it to be more like $30. When I got home I discovered one piece of fabric had been put on the ticket 3 times...and two of the fabrics were not showing the sale price. (and since everything was on sale I could not use my coupons...) So my plan was to go back to Joann's today to get my money back...except that I can't find my receipt now.

Of course I told my daughter about the unexpected trip to Joann's and she needs to go...so I will still be going to Joann's today...just not for the reason I wanted to go!!!!!

Miss Mia is pulling up in her crib! Major news in the family. Her mommy went to get her up from her nap and caught her standing in the crib for the first time. So the crib had to be lowered all the way down yesterday, and now when she stands she is at the right height to teethe on the rails...so we are off to find something to put on the rails to prevent her from eating her bed! LOL!

Nini

I feel like I need a shower after your hotel story. At least your DH got a good night's sleep. :)

of course her sign for Grandpa is to reach for him... she doesn't call him anything except she sees him, reaches and then starts telling her mom and dad bye bye!

How fun that Miss Mia is talking now and I love that she tells mom goodbye when Grandpa is around. She is a quick learner. :)

Can't wait to see you in your leather for the wedding. :lmao: I am curious to see the reaction when the bride's family realize who her father in law is. :rotfl2:

Unfortunately, the Disney World portion of the trip seems to be getting longer and longer! Glad to hear Mr. D is looking forward to the cruise and that socially he is making such nice progress this year at school. It is amazing what a difference a teacher can make. He deserves the best so I am happy to hear he is getting it.

I guess I am a bit surprised with Miss B wanting to stay in the room. I do wonder how long that will last. She will probably begging for another cruise before the first one is even over.

The words "Unfortunately, the Disney World portion of the trips seems to be getting longer" should never be spoken (or typed). Unfortunately!!! I know you are worried about school for Miss B. Rex sure hates Disney. :rotfl: At least you are racking up the points on your credit card.

Miss Mia is a very fast learner! Today at lunch I was trying to distract her (mommy had to take a trip to the potty) So we were saying the first 5 letters of the alphabet and when I got to E...I would lean over and kiss her. After two times...she started saying 'eeeeeeeeee' and would lean to me to kiss her.

Wedding plans...oh my..... The bride's mother wants us to wear jeans....that is so not going to happen! LOL...and my daughter may decide not to attend the reception because of where it is being held. She said she has never been to a bar and doesn't plan on starting now... of course, there may be an issue with the kids...since this particular bar does not allow minors to come in...and the reception starts at 6... so who knows what will happen. But I can assure you, the only leather this momma is going to be wearing is shoes!

Miss B is being such a pain about the cruise. I am seriously thinking of leaving her home with her older sister! I know she is having her own issues right now, and we are working at getting her some help, but she seems to have great delight these days in making everyone around her miserable...and the planning of the cruise has turned into a bonanza for her! She is managing to upset her brother so much he almost decided not to go!

I am not worried at all about Mr D missing school...but with Miss B being in high school, she is worried. She will (finally) be having all honors classes. She has gone on auto pilot for the past few years and I am worried that she might have some issues in high school. I honestly believe she does not know how to study!

I am not sure how to think about the extended Park portion of our trip. On one hand I like it on the other ...well we were not even going to do ANY park time at first! I am just wondering how the finances are going to hold out...especially since I wanted to take a quick trip in December when we send Wendy there....

On the pool front. I think they have waited too long to get back to us...husband is thinking that we will go with another above ground pool...so I have been shopping. While it will be a lot cheaper...part of the money will come from the trip fund.

I did just paid off our portion of the beach trip. I can hardly wait ! I keep going back to the pictures and day dreaming of the beach right out our back door! Just 2 more months! Ahhhhhhhhhh:beach:

I ordered the Cruise DVD tonight...Mr D watched a video online about the kids clubs and the first thing he said was they have X boxes! So he is a happy camper!

I can't believe it is bedtime already!

We're back and I see you've been busy.

Why do businesses call after business hours? I'll never understand that.

Sounds like you've been productive in the sewing department.

:banana::banana: for paying off one of the trips.

LOL...not as productive as I need to be! Hopefully once i get it all cleaned up again I will feel more like being in there. It still makes me feel like I need to clean when I am in there...

October hours were released last night! Now I have something to work from on planning our park days... Unfortunately, the hours were not what I was expecting...so my plans all have to be redone.

Mainly my plans for having Be Our Guest on my actual birthday... seems that the recommended parks changed from what I thought they would be (based on last year's info) I just need to sit and see how I can make it all work.

And we still need a place to eat for our actual Magic Kingdom day....

Then we need to decide which water park we want to go to on our break day...

I only have 38 days until I make my ADRs...I am cutting it kind of close...at least when compared to the way I usually do it!

Just a quick drive by...

My son just called to let me know that both he and his wife got PIN codes last night!

Now I know I should be happy that they got PIN codes, but this makes the 5th year in a row that they have gotten PIN codes. Not one PIN code, but multiple PIN codes! Last year they EACH got three or four!

I have been going to Disney at least once a year for the past 10 years and I have NEVER gotten a single PIN code!

True, the one they got is similar to the General Public offer that is out right now...30% off room with a stay of at least 5 nights...but it includes Free Park Hoppers... Now I haven't actually seen it...so I am not sure if it is talking about the difference between base tickets and Park Hoppers, or if it is the tickets with the Park Hoppers.

However, if they get a PIN code for Free Dining for either October or December...I will probably kill them! LOL!

Just stopping by to say hello Nini... I am a bit behind here too, but it sounds like you are in planning mode again. An October trip on the horizon? I hope you are doing well, and I truly missed having you at the Dismeet on Monday... Josh and I almost drove to Atlanta just to meet you. ;) It's looking like we may be back in TN during Christmas break... Just so you have pleanty of warning this time. LOL

I am so far behind but wanted to say it was so nice to meet up with you last week (Yikes, that was a week ago). Your daughter was very nice and I hope I didn't get you into trouble for saying that you are always talking about how cute Miss Mia is. :goodvibes But it is true. She is just adorable and so many smiles. It is nice that you get to spend time with her and your daughter.

Maybe Miss B's bad mood about the cruise is because she is worried about missing school. She might just be worried about going to High School and thinking about October makes it all too real.

Your son is super lucky. We haven't seen a pin code in forever (and have never actually been able to use one). My DH used to get them but not anymore. Oh well.

Glad the hours for Oct are so at least you can plan for sure now.

Just stopping by to say hello Nini... I am a bit behind here too, but it sounds like you are in planning mode again. An October trip on the horizon? I hope you are doing well, and I truly missed having you at the Dismeet on Monday... I told my husband last night that I would be going to TN during Christmas break...he didn't really say anything...but he shrugged his shoulders...LOL!

The October trip is the one I originally started this PTR about...just got sidetracked by a quick February trip... LOL! Of course, Mr D really wants to go next month as well.....

When I consider how little I actually got done this past week it is REALLY hard to believe it has been a week already! (and the ONE thing I needed to get that day was another gross of bobbins...and guess what I FORGOT!)

And I did not get in trouble...LOL...she actually gave me permission to post all I want, within reason! After she met you and then Jessica as we were leaving, she decided that my online friends are pretty nice...so it would be ok!

...and she really IS a happy baby...as long as Momma doesn't get too far away from her.

I am not sure that Miss B is worried about missing school...seeing as how she doesn't know she will be missing ANY days (but she will be missing one day only) It may be about High School in general, but probably not about missing a day.

We are having some other issues with her lately...but we are afraid some of the trauma from her previous life might be trying to creep in...add that to the fact that she is a TEENAGER...and well, you get my drift! LOL!

My son now starts each phone conversation with "guess what I got in the mail...?" I swear...if he wasn't the father of my first grand child he would be history! LOL!

Well, my days just got busier. I have built in Saturdays as a way to get caught up on my sewing. So many things happen during the week to get me off track, that the Saturday thingy keeps me in check. Unfortunately, I forgot that the Grand Princess plays soccer every Saturday! And after her game we all go out to lunch...and then hang out for a couple of hours...

I don't see me getting to sew too much on Saturdays!

My list from this week was to finish the Minnie Mouse Dress; make some Minnie Mouse bloomers (for Miss Mia's birthday party in 4 weeks); Make Miss Mia's Easter dress, and work a bit on her Birthday quilt.

I did manage to finish Miss Mia's Minnie Mouse dress....and cut out the Easter dress...and get the bodice done. But nothing else!

The bloomers will have to wait because I am still needing some measurements. I HAD measurements, but Momma changed the type of cloth diapers...and is afraid they will be too snug. I refuse to wast that pretty eyelet fabric on something that will not fit...so I am going to have to wait a few weeks on that...

Part of my problem this week was my machine started acting up...so I lost a full day and a half dealing with fixing that! But luckily I did not have to drive the three hours to the repair shop!

I will be ordering my t shirts for our upcoming trip either this weekend or early next week...then my days will get even more hectic! But I am kind of excited about one design...it is a Mickey Head with a spider web in it...and I am going to use glow in the dark thread for the spider web! I am not sure if it will be for the cruise or for a party night...since I haven't decided if I want to spend the money on a party yet!

The hours are out...and the red/green parks are driving me crazy! They changed the hours from last year a bit...meaning all my first choice parks are lining up...except for the last day! I am trying to figure out how to change them around, but nothing is working...sigh...

And of course...husband is now adding places he wants to eat...after he told me he did not want to have the deluxe meal plan...but there is no way I can possibly fit everything in with only 5 days! (so....another reason we need to go next month!)

It is official!

I just made my first order from Jiffy shirts for our October land and sea trip!

I never feel it is official until I start on the shirts! So....let the planning begin! OK...so the planning has been going on for almost a year already, but you know what I mean.

I also started gathering the forms etc for our passports...surprise! The ones I printed before have expired! (did not realize there was an expiration date on passport forms)...so I had to go in and print more forms....and they are good until 2015...LOL!

And....yes, I do know I don't actually HAVE to have the passports for the Disney cruise...it will just make things a bit easier and do a bit of easing my mind in case of emergencies.

The Grand Princess' soccer game went really well ... she scored her first goal! And her second goal! And her third goal! Even though they don't keep score on these games...she has decided she REALLY likes to play now!!!

And I managed to get Miss Mia's Easter dress almost completed. I wasn't sure about the bottom ruffle...it is a tad bit too long. But since she is not walking, it really won't matter, and since it should fit her for a long time, Momma said to go ahead and add the ruffle...

Spring has sprung! It is beautiful here in Metro Atlanta...and I am stalling...I want to sit here at my desk and look out the window. Or maybe go out and sit on the deck. Of course, if I do that I will think of a million things I want to do to the deck and back yard and end up spending money! LOL!

Have a great weekend!

Nini
