Hi (again!)

I noticed last year that there were loads of Disney buses at the airport. Are those free shuttle buses to the resort hotels? If not, how much are they? Do you have to book?

Thanks,

Eloise

Its disneys Magical express (ME) its free if you are staying at a disney resort.when it first started you could walk up to the desk and get a transfer but now you have to pre book trought disney direct or your travel agent. You have to give disney the times, flight numbers to and from the states hotel you are staying at with any booking referance. Then they will post to you yellow lugage lables 2 weeks before your flight when in MCO you dont have to pick up luggage they do it.If labels not arived but you have booked just turn up with your luggage at ME desk and they take you to your resort

They are free, but you have to pre-book. as mentioned above you are supposed to get luggage labels, but my guests coming to our WDW wedding didn't get any. Neither were they told about it. They all had to fork out for taxi's. Speak to your travel agent.

It's a complimentary service only for the duration of The Happiest Celebration On Earth according to the latest planning DVD. Sounds like they'll either charge for it or abandon it come November!

Can you book this service after using any airline landing at MCO as long as you are booked into a Disney resort? Also can you book just the one way?

Hi Granmaz,

yes to both questions depending on who you have booked the Disney hotel with.

If you have booked direct with Disney then it will be fine - not all tour operators are offering the service though.

Thanks Miffy. Yes, we will be booking through Disney.

Do any of you have any experience of using the service?

Paul, I don't know if that's the case unfortunately - some people reorted not being able to do this a while back (WDW did not have details of them until it was too late to arrange it).

Granmaz - yes we have used it and found it a really nice way to start the holiday :)

Can you use this for having your luggage delivered to your hotel and then passengers use the hire car. Or do both passengerS and luggage have to go together on the bus. Just thinking this might be a good idea with virgin lowering the luggage allowance as we have 10 passenger in a 10 seater van and might not fit all the luggage in. thanks for all your help, Maria
