Two things that were on my "bucket" list were to stay at all of the WDW hotels. Well, after December, I will only have All Stars left! :cool1:
The other was to visit the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco- and we did that this past May! We spent 6 hours there- I could have spent 6 days!! :lovestruc
I feel very lucky to have done so many fun things already! :cloud9:

Linda,
V&A can hold a jacket for you. DBF and I are going in Oct and when I made the reservation I had them reserve a jacket for me just in case.

On to my Disney Bucket List(in no particular order)

1-Buy into DVC at BLT
2-Spend a night in Cinderella Castle
3-Visit every Disney theme park worldwide
4-Go on an ABD trip.
5-Cruise on the Disney Dream

I did not read anyone else's ideas yet so I would not be influenced.

1 Victoria & Alberts
2. Stay in the castle apartment
3. tour the MK when closed.
4. get a job at WDW
5. take all my grandchildren at one time, stay at the Poly and visit all the parks with them.

Are bucket lists supposed to be reasonably attainable, as in - I can afford to do this, but just haven't gotten around to it? If so - then that list would be quite different from the If I won the lottery, I'd do _____________!

:) I did not know that. But I doubt he would wear it anyway. Then there's the appropriate slacks and shirt, shoes, etc., etc.

We'll get around to it one of these days...
... at least it's something to look forward to!

I actually saw him at AK one time Nikki, he walked right past me, I was too dumbfounded to move, do or say anything.

He was with a group of younger Imagineers and he was very friendly.

He introduced me to all the other folks and told me what they were working on and what were their fields of expertise.

Just a humble and friendly guy.

I think if I ever saw him in AK, I'd about drop dead. I've always been a fan of his work. :thumbsup2

My list:

1) Disney cruise
2) Spend Christmas at WDW with my family, my parents and as many of my siblings (with their families) as I can recruit
3) Buy DVC (probably BLT but maybe BCV)
4) Go on ABD - possibly several times!
5) Take each of my children alone on a mom/child trip to Disney and focus on whatever interests that child the most

Mine were mostly unattainable, but I had a few on there that might be attainable mixed in.

I guess I don't have a Disney bucket list. If I haven't stayed at a particular resort (Grand Floridian), eaten at a certain restaurant (Victoria & Albert's), taken a particular cruise (DCL Baltic) or guided tour (ABD), or purchased DVC - it's because I don't feel it's worth spending my money, and not because I can't afford it. If someone else wants to use their money for me to stay at the GF, eat at V&A, sail on DCL to Europe, or go on an ABD tour - I'm all for that! :teeth:

I've been VERY fortunate in that I have done so much of my "bucket list" already. I've sailed on the QM2 to London/Disneyland Paris. I've visited the Tokyo Disney Resort - three times. I've even been to a few of the Disney Shareholder meetings and saw Bob Iger, Michael Eisner and Roy Disney in person.

Here goes for my dream list.

1. Meet Diane Disney Miller
2. Visit the Walt Disney Family Museum (scheduled for October 2010).
3. Sail on the Disney Dream
4. Visit Hong King Disneyland
5. Visit the Walt Disney Studios and Imagineering in California (I know .. ABD)

My husband Michael (Merry Mousketeer) is at the Disney Family Museum at least once a month. Let us know when you are visiting. He can let you know what special events or lectures will be happening during your visit. If one works with your schedule we could possibly get you a ticket. You might get lucky and check off your #1 as Diane Disney Miller and Ron Miller attend many of these events.

Let us know if we can help.

It's a great day to be alive,
Carol

In no particular order:

1.spend 2 weeks at WDW.1 week on a cruise and 1 week in the parks
2. spend the night in Cindrella's castle
3. stay at the Poly and/or Contemporary
4. visit other Disney parks around the world
5. visit DL-go to WD archives and WD family museum

I thought of #6-buy DVC

1. Take an ABD trip to CA with the Podcast Crew -- which I'm trying really, really hard to schedule in for 2011
2. Take my nieces and nephews to WDW one at a time, without their parents (who totally slow us down), and let each choose their favorite hotel to stay in
3. Visit Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea
4. Eat at Club 33
5. Buy into DVC

1. Wake up in a deluxe room with an amazing view.
2. Take someone to Disney that wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.
3. Volunteer at GKTW.
4. See Walt's Apartment at Disneyland.
5. and if we are thinking un-realistically here...I want to perform in Fantasmic!

I feel pretty fortunate that I have done stuff on many "bucket lists" people have posted.

I own DVC.
I've stayed at some of the resorts listed.
I've eaten at Victoria and Albert's.
I've taken a Disney Cruise (and currently reserved for PCC 2.0)
I've done the ABD trip to California, so I've seen Imagineering and Walt's apartment.

All things considered, I think if I don't cross anything else off my Disney "bucket list", I've still done fairly well for myself. I hope people with relatively attainable items can manage to cross those off their lists soon. :goodvibes
