Wow hayley! Well done going to the gym!

I really need to start getting in shape, bith for my WDW trip and the wedding!

I'm good today, glad monday's finally almost done with! :)

How's everyone else?

My first time in absolutely ages! I wonder how long it'll last!! I'm dying to order the dress I love, but I'd like to lose a few pounds first at least!!

Ooooh your WDW trip in October!! I'm so jealous!

I want to get a dress 2 sizes smaller than I am now, so i really need to get cracking!

I'm a UK 14 (US10) at the minute and want my dress to be a 10. So I'm hoping I can get to a 12 for WDW (I was a 12 last summer, so that way I can rewear my summer clothes) and then I'll have a year and a half to get down to a 10!

I really need to get back on weight watchers too, but our house has loads of yummy (naughty) stuff in, so we need to finish that first, then it's healthy eating time!!

I'm the same, UK 14 and I desperately want to get back down to a size 10-12. I was a 8-10 when I started uni, and most students are too skint to eat, so not sure how that happened  I have absolutely no willpower, and hate the gym, so not a good combo! Ideally, I'd love to lose about 3 stone (42lbs), but not sure I see that happening!!

I think next shop I'm going to cook healthy meals for us as well. We don't really have snacks in the house (except for some dark choc hobnobs, mmm!), but I tend to make mountain sized portions. I hate wasting food, so it all goes on the plate!! Weight watchers is a good idea, we've just moved, so I might look into where our local one is!

If anyone has a good lowfat recipe, then I'd love to have some!!

are you sure this is allowed? I get so worried with these things!!!!
Its all rainy here... and grose... and my mom dropped my birthday cake on the floor... lmao...

Just wanted to post something random...HI GIRLS!

Hey sweetie! I'm sure this is fine! Us brides need a place to talk, and I think we're driving our other boards crazy, so this way we are keeping everyone happy! :)

Hayley, have you done WW before? the core plan is really great, and you can eat as much as you like, I love this site for recipes:

I have done WW before, although it was a few years back before they changed into a couple of different plans that you could follow. I actually lost quite a few pounds :) But I stopped going and it just crept back on... I really should go back! I like WW because you can eat what you want with your points, etc...:)

Eeeeee! 25 is old!!!!! :lmao:

Oh no really? I don't want anyone to hate me :(

ww rocks... I loveed it when I was on it. I actually went from 178lbs to what I am now... 117.... but mostly on slimfast...then ww..... I wouldnt tell anyone to do slimfast...it made me have major issues with my liver...

But WW is the way to go and you can do it online which helps even more. AND i know of a site that calculates for free!

Wow, thats great!! I went form 200 to 162, but am now back at over 180. :(

I really need to lose lots of weight! As dresses make me so hot and I think being more healthy would make for a much more comfortable wedding!!

Also Jenny,

I didn;t mean you driving people mad, some of us UK brides all met over on the disney paris boards, and i think we are really pee-ing people off over on the DLRP chat board, as all we talk about is weddings!!

You did good Torsie!! I really need to do something! I want to order my dress!!

I tried on the 14 in the bridal shop and it was too small, I really don't want to order it in the 16 :( Darn tiny bride sizes!! I want to order it in a 12, I hope... so I can lace either way!!

WOW thats awesome....
I can give you guys the diet that I lost the last ten lbs on, and am stil llosing... It it awesome!!!!

The nutritionist told me to eat the following for a month to see how my stomach felt (I have major issues- IBS, Collitis, etc)

Breakfast M-F- Yogurt and: A banana, or a oatmeal breakfast bar
Snack M-F: A piece of dark Chocolate, carrots, half banana
Lunch M-f: Another Yogurt with: an apple and half a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Dinner: Steamed veggies with a carb (whole wheat pasta)
Dessert: Vitamuffin, Piece of chocolate (must be dark) or , a half of cup of riccotta, mixed with splenda and cocoa (tastes like chocolate cheesecake)

Weekends:
Breakfast : Egg whites (Any way) with cheese and broccoli or vegetable with whole wheat toast and turkey bacon
Lunch: Peanut butter an djelly sandwich or Lean turkey sand with an apple or banana
Dinner: Free choice Saturday , but Sunday must consist of 80% veggies...

Its been really working for me, plus the gyms been a no since I got sick so, if I'm losing weight with this and not goign tothe gym I cant wait to start again...

I'm trying to shed 42lbs as well, lost 13lbs so far.

I got my dress in a UK16 (big up top and on the hips) because I didn't want to risk it being too small or too tight, you don't want to be uncomfortable on your wedding day and the wedding dress shop can take it in if needed.

I'm off carbs for 4 days to see if that helps. Swimming tonight as well.
