Hi,

Has anyone gotten the Disney Bride or Bridesmaid shirts they offer at disneystore.com?

I bought the bride, MOH, and BM shirts and they run suuuper small! I thought they would have been cute to wear while we were getting ready on the morning of the wedding, but they're pretty tight, so I don't think it would be a good idea to pull them off over freshly made up hair and makeup. I'd really like to try to incorporate them on the wedding day somehow and have come up with the following options:

1. Buy a second set. Cut the girls out of their shirts on the wedding day and give them the second set as a keepsake. (My fiance came up with this one...I can't stop laughing at the idea of having to be cut out of a shirt...)

2. Make an iron on transfer of the same design and put it on a hoodie, tank top, button shirt, etc...something they can more easily get out of.

3. Get a tailor to alter the existing t-shirts into a tank top (which I still worry about because the fabric is not very forgiving (ie stretchy))

Has anyone else bought these shirts and run into the same problem? How did you remedy it?

I know they run small which is such a shame as I wanted to get them as well!

I opted to make my own. I went to to Etsy.com, ordered these:

I did one for my mother of the bride, mother of the groom and bridesmaid on an Old Navy tank top (much looser and will be able to get off with out ruining there hair)

I also purchased pink hoodies which I will do the same, rhinestones on the back for them!

Good luck!

I'm going to wear my Bride shirt for the events leading up to the wedding, and wear something easier to change out of for the getting ready pictures. I don't think there's any good way to alter them and they are going to mess up your hair/rub your makeup off when you take them off. Another option is to get robes and buy the rhinestone transfers. They have ones in the Disney font on Etsy.

I also made my own tshirts using rhinestones in Disney font I bought from Etsy. I bought the tshirts from Old Navy during a sale, and they were cheaper than the shirts sold by Disney. Good luck!:goodvibes

I ordered the Disney bride and MOH shirts from Disney. They run super small. My sister and I are usually a small/medium and had to get a large. Unfortunately, my other BM's are much larger than us, so I ended up getting the Rhinestone transfers on Etsy and made them Old Navy tanks instead.

I have the Disney bride shirt but wore this tank during the day of and it was easy to get it over my head.
