I love breakfast,, French toast, eggs, sausage gravy, grits, bacon, rolls and pastries. I’ve yet to experience breakfast at Disney. So tell me who does it best? :cloud9:

I have only ate at two places for breakfast, Cape May Cafe and Captains Grille. Both are very good, Cape May has alot bigger buffet and costs more since it's a character dining. If I was to choose which is better as far as choices it would be Cape May

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.

My two favorites are the Grand Floridian Cafe and the Kona Cafe, 1a and 1b on my list.

DH and both agreed that the best breakfast on our last trip was at Hollywood and vine. It used to be crystal palace but it wasn't great on our last trip

Oh, yes,,, Thank you!

P.S. No kids this trip, so characters don’t really interest us, but good food does.

That Tonga toast sure looks appealing.

I loved Hollywood & Vine & Ohana's on our last trip. Looking forward to trying Kona Cafe, Akershus & Tusker House this time around :)

How was the buffet food? Is it worthy? and what does Ohana do for Bfast, is it family style as well?

The buffet was fantastic. They had a lot to choose from and everything tasted so good. Ohana is family style and we really loved everything there as well... they'll keep bringing out more if you want.

If the Tonga toast looks good to you and you don't want characters I recommend Kona Cafe at the Poly.

Kona Cafe for a TS breakfast. The Tonga Toast was very good, but the Pineapple-Macadamia pancakes are better. If someone is a big eater, the Big Kahuna has a little of a lot of things.

Boma breakfast buffet is another winner for us. All of the usual American breakfast foods plus some selections with African overtones. And the Frunch (juice) is not to be missed.

For the best breakfasts, avoid the character buffets and try any/all of the following:

  • Kouzzina on the Boardwalk
  • The Wave @ the Contemporary (they have a nice buffet or regular menu ordering)
  • Boma buffet @ Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Kona Cafe @ the Poly

I think you'll love a buffet - Captain's Grille at YC or Boma at AKL I think both had grits, biscuits & gravy.

And the Winner is....................................

Boma! :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for the suggestions,,, I'll let you know in 27 days how it was!
