Yea! Just finished my scrapbook from our Oct. 2004 Disney trip last night. 31 pages. I explored with fun new tools/techniques - 3-D pop glue dots, my new "X" sticker maker and my new eyelet setter. My husband bought me a drafting desk for Christmas and now I actually have a scrapbook area to call my own - which is much better that spreading out my supplies on the livingroom floor and packing them into a case in the closet after each scrapping session.

Now, I'm excited to share the book with everyone so they can check it out - my question to fellow scrappers is - is it too tacky to show off my Disney scrapbook to others or is that like 'forcing' people to watch your vacation videos?

Here's my encouragement to all you other Disney scrappers out there - it can be done. Good luck & have fun.

Most people want to look, especially fellow scrappers. I usually just mention that I finished it and see if they ask to see it. I did leave one out on the coffee table for a while so people could just look for themselves. However, when FIL used it as a coaster for his drink :scared1:, I moved it to a little bookshelf in the living room with the other books. You'll get a feel right away what people are interested and what people are just being polite. You may also be surprised at who shows real interest.

Congrats on finishing!

If you really want to share with interested people, you could always post tehm and put a link here. ;)

You will find that people who are interested in scrapbooking and people who are interested in the people in the scrapbook (especially if it is themselves!) will love to look at them. I don't really show off mine to anyone else unless they ask. Anyone who knows me knows I scrapbook and I figure if they are interested they will ask to look at them.

Congratulations on finishing. Being someone interested in scrapbooking, I would love to check out your pages! ;)

Since you finished, I guess now you need to go back to WDW!!! Congrats :cool1:

Way to go! I love that finished feeling!

Yeah!!!! I would love to see as well. 32 pages, WOW! I can imagine how long that took you. It seems like I've been working on mine for months and only have 3 pages done! PLease show it off!

Accomplishing a task like that always feels terrific. My books are mainly on a shelf in the livingroom. As already noted those interested will ask. Or sometimes they will ask another question that is best answered by showing off the book! :cool1:

Carrie I hear you on the coaster thing. Andrew's book is still sitting on the end table from the other night when you were checking out the tree pages and one of my Girl Scouts started to set a napkin with Thin Mints on it Monday. The rest of the troop responded with one voice stopping her! Now that was amusing! :teeth:

Congratulations! Wow! You can bet that we'd like to see it.

I usually mention to family that I've added some new pages and "happen" to have the scrapbook out. They can look or not. Dd pours through them all the time.

You'll probably find that your scrapbooking friends will always want to look at them.

I guess I'd better get to my Oct '04 Disney Cruise book, lol!

Thanks for the support & replies everyone.

I'll try to post my pages to share when I have some time.

Yes! I need to plan another Disney vacation. Hmmm, perhaps October again this year! Must inform DH, I don't think he'll protest.

I know I'll have more than enough Disney scrapbooking supplies to do another book (or 10!) - what was I thinking - all those cute papers and embellishments just suck you in! Just purchased a great Mickey head punch and some Disney paperclips - and my book is done - someone stop me before I shop again!!!
