Disney Bathing Suit sizing

Has anyone ordered the cute pink Mickey Tankini from the Disney online store?
I remember about a year ago everyone said disney sizes things big. I ordered that bathing suit using my true size and hope it fits.
I used the 20% off, the $10 off bathing suits and the $5 shipping to get the bathing suit for $17 and some change. I am going on a quick trip in two weeks and hope that it fits so I don't have to send it back.

Ordered 3 last years during summer closeout sale - they were @ least 2 sizes too big; no problem with return.

DEFINITELY AGREE!!!! I ordered the cute Tink Tankini in my normal size. Well when it got her my daughter said "Mom! Why is your suit so big!" Needless to say it was like 2 sizes too big! I returned it and got one 2 sizes smaller and it fit perfect.

I just ordered the Mickey tankini and I have yet to try it on, but it looks HUGE...not sure what I am going to do...probably just keep it.

So swimsuits run big? Because I found their regular women's tank tops to run EXTREMELY small... which is odd because in years past I, too, had found their clothing to run big.

I've purchased 3 swimsuits and they have all been 2 sizes to big. Not that I don't like buying a smaller size, but it can be a pain if you don't know. I would personally go by their measurements. I had to give the first bathing suit to a family member and just purchased another one because it was such a good deal. I am planning on buying a couple this year because I really like the tankini style.

Another vote for two sizes too big here! As soon as I recieved it, I called customer service and had one in the right size on the way. When they got the other one back they credited my account. It saved a little bit of the turnaround time.

They didn't give me the 30% off on some clearance items, but they did combine the 20% and the $10 off the bathing suit.

i ordered this exact suit today! I ordered my size but it looks like I'll end up sending it back to get one that fits!

Weird sizing is Right! I typically wear an 18W in most things. Having heard the swimsuits run big, I ordered the black one piece with white mickey heads in a size 16. It was Huge!!! Now, I am not as "well endowed" on top as I am on the bottom, but seriously, I couldn't believe how big this suit was. I ended up giving it to a good friend who usually wears about a 20 and is very, VERY "well endowed" and it fit her perfectly! I decided not to try again.
Other things I've ordered from that site: The black velour mickey pants and jacket. Size XL fit fine in the bottoms, but the XL jacket was way too tight (and remember, this is usually the way clothes work for me). The XXL jacket was fine, but none too generous when you think about their size comparison chart. I've ordered two of the short sleve polos in XL and they are snug.
And a year or so ago, a baseball style shirt with the disney logo in an XL and I couldn't even get it on!! I bought the flannel mickey pjs in an XXL after the experience with the polos and jacket. They are loose, but comfortable.
It is SO hard to know what size to order!

Youngest DD is a big girl and tall for her age. I ordered a women's 16 tankini last year for her as a Christmas present--I dry everything too so I figured if it was a little big it would shrink. Umm I ended up giving DD, 16, the bathing suit and it fit her a bit big but wearable. She wears an 18.

So if I wear a 6 I am out of luck because the smallest size is a 6. I really Like the tink one.

I don't order anything from Disney true to size. The bathing suits are two sizes too big, the pjs are one size too big and the kid's pjs are two sizes to small.

That's exactly what I was going to post!! I just mailed back a swimsuit. On the size chart, I was in-between two sizes. After our experience with the micro-jammies (what a waste of money that was), I went big. It was absolutely huge! I sent it back & requested two sizes smaller. I sure hope this one fits; I love the suit. I would have liked to have had a matching cover-up, but it probably worked out for the best - I wouldn't have known which size to order.
