When we get to DLR, I want to purchase one of the autograph books that allows you to slide photos into the pages too. Does anyone know how many pages come in a book?
When we last went to WDW, I purchased small sketchbooks from the dollar store. They had thicker white paper which was great for autographs, and I left the page blank beside each autograph for a picture to be glued in later. The girls loved these, and decorated them with their own Disney stickers. This led to much interaction with the face characters who commented on the choice of stickers -- one had all princesses, the other winnie-the-pooh. The sketchbooks also had elastics that held the page open -- great for my then DD3 to hand off to the characters. All in all, a great souvenir for $1 each There were enough pages for 100 souvenirs and photos, and yet they were still smaller than the official photo autograph books (5x7 -- perfect size for a regular photo).
I am a psycho nut because we had to buy three books - but DD loved it. I guess it did cost $30 for the books - but she was entertained the whole trip, and did not ask for anything else while we were there - she was too busy looking for characters. We have books from each of our last three trips, and they really are great souvenirs that last forever!
