I am back from my latest Disney trip! We had a wonderful time. The combo of daylight savings time happening the night we had to leave for the airport at 4:20am was just ugh!
I am still recovering from that.

Your departure day was our arrival day. We adjusted to the time change by booking the 7am flight out of Chicago Midway, rather than the 5am flight. But your early flight must have been hard.

I bet! I flew the day before to Vancouver. The three hour time change to Pacific zone plus spring ahead was a doozy!

RL update ~ Vancouver trip!

Hi friends! I replaced my WDW spring break trip with a trip to see my sister in slightly rainy Vancouver. Weather aside, this was a spectacular trip. The west coast of Canada is simply beautiful. Time with my sister and cousin, exploring forests, eating all kinds of amazing food, enjoying Stanley Park, the seawall, Granville Market, the Museum of Anthropology and the beach made for a very lovely 5 days.

I had a nice surprise at the Vancouver airport when I saw a display of a Canadian Disney collector. There were many cool vintage and international items. There were several display cases for each character but I'm just sharing a few here.








If you find yourself at YVR, this collection is well worth a look!

I had a nice surprise at the Vancouver airport when I saw a display of a Canadian Disney collector.

That was quite an extensive collection. You got a touch of Disney after all.

All sounds great. I've done Stanley Park, seawall and Granville Market, but not the Museum. Was it interesting?

It was so nice to be back in Vancouver again.

Oh, it was amazing all right. We basically told our waiter to bring whatever he thought was delicious. One of my favourites was the caramelized Sable fish. The cocktails were incredible as well. It was just a really great night.

Now I remember I didn't make it all the way around but had to cut up and over as there was some kind of emergency going on.

Oh, it was amazing all right.

A chilly Epcot morning and the yummiest breakfast!

No morning at Epcot is complete without a visit to Walt at Dreamer's Point. I just love this area and think it is a great addition to the park.



The sky was a beautiful bright blue but it was a chilly start to the day at about 9 degrees. We were held near the entrance to the Land for about 15 minutes even though our breakfast reservation was for 8:30.

Once we were allowed to move, we made a beeline for the Land and warmth. We waited about 10 minutes after checking in and were soon presented with this platter of deliciousness.

The potatoes were absolutely to die for, the eggs were Disney eggs, the steak was flavourful and tender and the Mickey waffles were great. We were very happy!

The cinnamon bread was perfection!! So soft, perfectly spiced and oh so yum!

As we had breakfast as part of the Candlelight Processional dining package, we had an adult beverage included. We both went for a yummy mimosa. So good!





Naturally I had to wear my Chip and Dale Christmas dress. Dale loved it!

I always love meeting Pluto too! I know I took pics of Caroline with all the friends too so I am sure she will share those. It was a fabulous breakfast and we were both VERY full as we headed off to ride Living With The Land.​

I just love this area and think it is a great addition to the park.
