Disney Assigned New Reservation Numbers

I called this am (800-WDWDine) to check for a possible change to my dining reservation for next Friday the 29th. I gave the confirmation number to the CM, they couldn’t find it at all.
The CM had to look them up with my name and address information. As it turns out the reservations are all there safe and sound in the system, however; the confirmation numbers have an added digit in the middle. They were all there but were different numbers. Thank God they didn't get lost in the shuffle.

Nope... They [the dining reservation numbers] were 11 digits and are now 12 digits. A "5" was added to the middle of the sequence of numbers.

My dining ressies I made 5 months ago have 12 digits already. That is why I asked if the extra digit made it 13. Anyone else have dining ressies with only 11 digits?

Mine have always been 12 digits. I have one that shows on-line and two that don't. The one that shows is for the HDDR and is pre-paid. Based on the reports that other posters ADRs have been verified by a CM, I'm not concerned about those I don't see on-line.

Oh, no - - what a nightmare! I have 14 days worth of ADRs for December 18-January 1 that are no longer coming up in the system. Why in the world would Disney have changed the confirmation numbers, especially for existing reservations? Uggggg...

This is all so strange. None of my reservation numbers have changed and just yesterday I got a waitlist added and have a new reservation and that new number is the same type/sequence number pattern as all of my reservations. As for the dining, all of my dining reservations have always been 12 numbers.

Also, I have 30 days worth of dining reservations booked between my Nov and Jan trips and NONE show up online anymore. I don't even want to call and check as I plan to just show up with my number and not worry about it.

Funny, I called Disney Dining a few days ago and verified all of my dining reservations and there were no digits inserted anywhere. They were the same reservation numbers.

And the reservation numbers are all 12-digit numbers, not 11 digits. The original reservation numbers were 12 digits and that did not change.

Call WDWDine and have them look up the reservations using your name and contact information. They should still be there. Then have them confirm the numbers for you.
I doubt this is a panic situation.

My reservation number is still the same but I am noticing my dining plan is not showing and it does not show that I did online check in. Update- just got off phone with MS, they did confirm confirmation number has changed. They stated ,I needed to do online check in again. They did confirm my dining plan but still not showing under the new reservation number. Anyone having the same issue?

Maybe the representative from MS you spoke with dint really get you booked to the reservation.
I've never encountered such problems so far.
Check with MS again asap. your dates and resorts may not be availalble now. but also check your points if they were consumed by the reservation made. if not, then it's not confirmed.

I wanted to mention that today while doing my online checkin I noticed ALL of my DVC room reservation confirmation numbers are now different. I know when this post started they had not changed and I had printed them out on 10/7. Today everyone of my DVC room reservation are different numbers (but similar as they all start with a 4). I checked all EIGHT reservations to the 10/7 list and all have changed. Since I'm getting ready to make my ADRs for my May 2nd trip, I'm glad I caught this so I used the correct room reservation. (I actually wrote down both old and new). So while this didn't happen right away for me, it does seem to be happening.

The other day I noticed that the DVC reservations on my account had changed as well.

Intriguing. I wonder if that's why some people aren't finding their info even when they call a CM? And you used name and address...I think some who can't find their dining reservations at all, in any way, are just giving phone number or hotel reservation info...I wonder...

OK, I think my day is 11/3. I will have my netbook with me to do it from BLT, but the last time I looked at the dining website the 180+10 feature was not working and folks are having to CALL (can you believe it, going backwards).

Update:: Just got back from our trip. Had no issues with room reservation & dining reservations. I too was stressing prior to trip but called CSR and they confirmed every ADR.

So it's not just me... I was entering BOTH of the conf#'s I have for my upcoming trip, and the online system isn't taking either of them. I hope this gets fixed in time for me to make my ADRs online with 180+10.
