Put your phone in airplane mode, you can turn off cellular data too if you wish. Then turn on wifi and connect to the ships wifi, instructions are actually included with the app.

I liked the app but found it incorrect several times. Because we were on a special cruise, the dinner menus were not always correct. We also queued up to see a show in WDT (according to the app) but the show was in the BVT. Good thing it wasn't a very popular show and we were able to get a seat.

Other than that, it was nice but I also liked to see the daily navigator for an overall view of events for that day.
