Hi Friends.

Just a quick check-in from my brother's house. We survived the all-nighter. Went about 41 hours with 2 or 3 30 minute naps in the car. Last night slept well in a bed. We should be leaving here in a few hours to head home.

UMass was ok. A good visit but I think it has moved down on DD's list though. Not as nice as we rememberd. I am very glad we made the visit.

I will catch up more when we get home.

Sadly LK will not be in Orlando when I will. As she put it, we'll just have to continue to meet in my dreams!!! Also sorry to report no sequel to Friday night's adventures in Pittsburgh.

Cool, damp, starting to drizzle here. EB has a game in an hour but I don't think it will be raining hard enough to cancel it.

This is a doozey of a cold! I sound like a frog when I try to talk. The good thing is that other than being tired and not sleeping well, I don't feel all that bad.

My Sooners won their game again. Woo hoo! I had to say that because I couldn't say it in real life with this throat. This has been a great season for us so far.

No church for us today. I really wanted to start at the new church today. Somehow I don't want to be remembered as the family that spread around the virus in the fall of '03. So maybe next week.

I think I may have my package ready to go this week. Can we mail them out early or are we supposed to wait? If I'm still under the weather I promise I'll have Amy pack everything so I won't be including my germs. I'm just excited to get it in the mail.

Marsha, glad you're feeling good enough to take a temp job! I need to get Halloween candy too. I am waiting until the last minute, so I won't eat it before the big night. And poor Amy can't have any this year. She's still on a sugar ban from the orthodontist. Guess we'll need to pick up some sugar free candy for her this year.

Sorry UMass wasn't what you remembered. Good to know in advance of making a decision, though. David keeps talking about going to school in Hawaii. Thank goodness he likes OU a lot and he'll probably decide to stick around closer to home.

I agree. It's been long enough. LOL! The good news is that I usually get something like this right after Christmas. Maybe I'm just getting it over with early this year so I can enjoy the holidays.

Gail, sorry you and LK can't have a meet. If you can't finish the dream could you at least make up an ending? You've left your loyal readers hanging.

I always buy candy that I like for Halloween. I buy at the last minute so I'll stay out of it, but the leftovers are fair game. I'm going to have to start walking twice as far if we don't have a lot of trick-or-treaters.

Hello Angels!
Last night we had our monthly Creative Memories workshop at our Consultants house. It's a girl's night out. We all sit around a Huge table work on our scrapbooks, eat munchies and gab.

DS has spent the week in Paris at a big backgammon tournament and due back to his apartment in Southern France within the hour. I'm anxious to hear how he did! I'm going to try to call him in about 30 minutes which will be about 6:30 pm. for him.

SB, is the Pittsburgh meet a definate?

Merry, I hope you get rid of that nasty virus soon!

Marsha, I'm impressed with how well you're doing! Is your speedy recovery due to laser surgery?

E, how many times have you seen Potc? I Still haven't seen it!

Steph, wow, look at your countdown!! I won't lie. I'm jealous!

Sandi - yes the Pgh meet is on! November 1st at 1:00 at Ross Park Mall. They moved our thread to the DIS Meet Boards. As we get closer, I guess we will iron everything out. I bet your DS is having a fabulous time. What is the feeling towards Americans in France now?

MP - I ALWAYS get bad colds around Christmas. I blame it on all the running around that month.

Gonna take my niece and nephew out to lunch tomorrow at T.G.I.F. They are both on little breaks from college. LK, wanna come?

Hi Sandi! I have seen Pirates a total of 7 times already. Not as many as some I know, but more than any other movie I can think of that was in the theatre! I hope all is going well for your DS at the tournament! And how cool that it is over there!!

Well I went shopping for a Halloween costume this year and decided I will be the Evil Queen from Snow White.... somehow seemed very fitting for me

Hi folks!

Got up early for church and CCD. Logan is really sick with a bad cough, so the guys stayed at home. They had a good time yesterday at the Webelos day with the Boy Scouts. I think all of this outdoor stuff in the past 10 days in the cold weather finally got to him.

The weekend for the inventory is November 14 to the 16th. I would love to see the holiday decorations at WDW, but that might be a bit too early. I'll have to go check that out right now.

I hope we get a decent turnout for the Pittsburgh meet. At the very least, me, E, SB and Sandi can hang out!

EB played the first half before the refs listened to the whining parents and called the game.
The kids were soaked and we weren't much drier. EB thawed off in a hot bath and we've been puttering around for the afternoon. She said to say that her hands were numb! I had many body parts that were numb...and wet too!

Gail, Logan was an alien two years ago. Have you seen the glow in the dark mouth pieces? I bought one for him at the Party City store. It looked really neat at night. I'll keep my eyes open for the e-savers so you can come to Pittsburgh that day!

E - cool costume. My DD was Snow White last year. She would have loved you coming along!

My DS is going to be a red Ninja, and my DD is going to be Ariel. We got the wig and everything else except for the wand. I have a musical Princess wand that she can use. Although she has to keep reminding me that Ariel is not one of the princesses pictured on the wand.

Steph - have you left yet? Sorry that we did not make it to 150 pages yet. We will leave a forwarding address.

Tried to make it to church tonight, but we went out to dinner and got home too late. We took our bikes out to a local park beforehand and went riding w/ the kids. Wish we could do that everyday.

Hey Everyone!!! I'm back!!
Actually I got back around noon but then I had to take Dylan to a Halloween party & then go to Matthew's hockey game.
My weekend at the cabin was WONDERFUL. The 7 of us had a great time! We just hung out and reconnected all weekend! We did pedicures, manicures, played games, played Euchre, watched movies and laughed til our sides hurt!!

LK-Logan & Leah's costumes are adorable! What clever ideas!!

Welcome back Lars!!! Glad you had a good time this weekend. For the PA meet, just drive out to my place Friday and stay the night. Sat we'll drive on out together and then you can stay at my place Sat night before driving back on Sunday... sound good?

E, the night before the Pittsburgh meet is Halloween, so Lars will probably want to stay at home with her kids. However, she could easily leave home when trick or treating is over, say about 9? C'mon, Lars, you know you want to!

Steph, I can't wait to see your pictures of all of you in your costumes at MNSSHP!!

BTW, I read that they don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving, so I would miss it this year. But there's always next year!

Quick question - since DH will be working on inventory up until 4 or 5, is it possible to purchase a discounted ticket for admission to one park for reduced hours? I don't want to pay for a whole day's admission if he can't get there until later.
