Well, I did the business errand, and spied the perfect Christmas gifts for my closest and dearest friends. And I have a "JOB" interview tomorrow at a Beauty Supply place, answer the phones, take the order, key it into the computer, make sure it gets shipped. Lousy hours, and not really good pay. But hey, an interview is an interview, and this one came from todays guy. He works fast......

E feel better, I thought I was getting the stuffy ears again, so I nipped it in the bud with good old clairatin and motrin. THat was yesterday, so far so good today.

Lars, sometimes it's OK to be prepared. Sometimes it's funny.

Shoot, I forgot, I have to marinate the beef for din din, better run!

Hey Guys....
Let's see....for my day:

Met with Patrick's 2 core teachers....come to find out, I know his "main" teacher's husband very well.....well, I used to....he dated my best friend through high school....I didn't mention that to her though. After the meeting, I said to Neil, "did you make the connection as to who her husband is?" Of course he didn't, which is a good thing, because there were some pretty crazy tales he could have told.....and being my DH, would have easily stepped into it....if you know what I mean.....
He currently has straight A's in all of his classes, and we're comfortable taking him out of school for WDW.

Right now, the bunnies are going to be named "Cuddle" and "Snuggle".....but Meghan is really pushing for Jessie and Woody, or Lilo and Stitch. We ended up with a male and a female...and are now contemplating whether we will breed them or not....they are registered french lops...so now Neil is second guessing....:) Guess who was curled up in the chair petting one when I got home???? Yep....DH.....Mr. "We dont' need anymore pets" and Mr. "It has to stay outdoors"....sheeesh.....

pictures...who wants pictures???

Here's AJ at soccer....

Great pictures Steph!!!!
Cute bunnies & kids!!!!:D
You didn't say if you liked the new thread title..................

Thanks Lars... that really meant a lot to me to hear. I am working on getting better, I promise!!!

Marsha, best of luck to you at the interveiw tomorrow!!! Glad to hear that the Claritin and Motrin did the trick for you!! :)

Steph, great pictures!!!! The kids are cute and so are the bunnies!!! So glad you posted them... the last bunny reminded me of one I had years ago!

Oh and Lars... I saw, like and approve of the new title :)

Gee, I was lost in the woods for a minute when I saw the new titile! I thought for a minute you'd all talked so much we had to move already! ;) Glad to see that everyone's still here! I hope that everyone that doesn't feel well (including puppies!) feels better soon. Marsha good luck with the job hunt!

Steph, cute kids and great pictures. Can't say I am a big rabbit fan though.

Lars, I almost missed the thread with the new title. I like it though.

I am glad all of you are still posting. This place seems to be falling apart and I hate losing my friends to cyberspace. I feel like I will never see them again. (Like Bernie and John and Willy.)

I was at conferences for 2 hours. 1 hour and 40 minutes to see 9 teachers. Some had lines. Then I talked to 2 administrators for another 20 minutes. I love to hear them all say nice things about my kids.

Now, if we could only get the TI 83 connected to the computer, DD could do her homework. AGHHHH!!!

I take it all went well at the conferences then, Carol? I hope so and glad that they had good things to say about your kids :)

You know I was feeling the same way earlier tonight... I hate losing friends and some of this really has started to get me bummed out :( But I have been here 5 years and I have no intentions of changing that any time soon. You all are so dear to me... I am so blessed to have you all as friends :)

Evening Angles and Alan!:D

Lots of posts to catch up on today.

LK - tell Ariel that Auntie Lorraine hopes she feels better and {{{hugs}}} to her! I'm not even going to tell Shannon about her beloved Ariel.:(

Marsha - still wishing you luck w/ the interviews.

Lars - you are just way too prepared for me. one week early?! at least now you can take it easy for a week.

Steph - way toooooooo cute pics of the bunnies and your kids. I have to post more pics of my kids. maybe on Saturday I'll take some of my DS at soccer!

E - ditto what you said about being blessed to have so many good friends. I don't want to think about anyone on this thread ever leaving.

I'm one who likes the window closed at night. can't stand to wake up freezing or hearing all the noise on my street in the morning.
Well LK, I finally got your cold! Thanks for coughing and sneezing my way at work!

I second that....or do I third it since SB has already agreed. I also share Carols feelings and I'm glad you're all still here.

I'll admit I hadn't noticed the thread change but it's a welcome one.

Tonight, after a second night of spending over an hour on 4th grade math homework, I wrote a note to the teacher. I'll admit I didn't come out and say it's keeping me from my friends online but it was a clear statement to indicate that the homework is taking over our lives!!! :(
(I also didn't add that I felt we were doing HER job since much of the homework is new material...but I wanted to!)

Catch you all in the a.m.

Lorraine, sorry about the cold :( I hope you feel better soon!

An hour on 4th grade homework??? Good luck with that Gail!

Sleep well you all :)

Goodness. You guys have had a lot to say.

Stephanie, the bunnies and kids are darling.

LK have you seen any ticks in your area? I know that Lymes can cause joint pain. Just a thought. Hope your pup feels better soon.

Lorraine, sorry you are under the weather. Feel better soon.

Wow. That sounds rough, Gail. Lots of homework is bad enough, but on NEW material it's not acceptable.

Sounds like conferences/ open houses went well. It's always nice to hear good things about your kids at school.

Best of luck, Marsha. I'll be thinking of you.

I like my bedroom cool. We don't ever open our windows. Allergy problems run in the family and Oklahoma is the allergy capital of the world. I either have a fan or a ceiling fan running pretty much year round. We do reverse the ceiling fan in the winter. And yes, my DH freezes, but he's a trooper. He knows my medication makes me have hot flashes deluxe.

MIL finally got her D&C scheduled. They have really left her hanging. She'll have it done Monday morning. I don't know if we'll know anything then or not. I bet they'll send something to the lab.

Any more news on the Lupas diagnosis? How is she doing?

You are all very special. I feel like I know you all and I care about you all and your families, too. With people disappearing into cyberspace right and left, I'd hate to think that anything would happen and we wouldn't be able to stay in touch. I need to share my email and AIM with all of you. I've given up trying to understand all that happens here, but it makes me sad when people go away.

I need to get some things put away so we can head to bed. I'm tired. Have a good night's sleep.

Merry, you did an excellent job of catching up there!!! If you want to add me to your AIM, my username (which is a tad embarassing really... it's 8 years old) is in my profile. And of course that goes for all here :)

Good morning all! :) Enjoy the day!

Morning Angels!:D

Don't have a lot of time this morning since I have to go to work.
Just wanted to say "hello" to all my wonderful friends!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Wow! I didn't even know the old "place" was closed, and here we have a new spot with 92 pages already!

Got a PM from Bernie yesterday. It was good to hear from him.

Diane it's not a new place....just a thread name change.
You heard from Bernie???? How is he?

Morning!

Steph, did you come up with anything "fun" to do at your Scout meeting? Love the cute pictures of the kids and the bunnies! I also like Meg's suggestions for the names - Lilo and Stitch!!!

MP, good suggestion about the ticks. I haven't noticed any, but I'll be on the lookout. Ariel is hanging in there. A little less yelping when she woke up this morning.

SB, sorry about the cold. Blame it on Logan - he brought it home from school I think.

Glad that Bernie has been heard from. Everyone here is like one big family, so of course we will get worried if one of our own goes missing for a while.

Uh oh, only 3 more months until Christmas??? I'd better get shopping!

Stephanie - Thanks so much for sharing those great photos!

I'm glad to hear that all the School Conferences have gone well....It seems that the children of Angels (shall we call them cherubs?) make us all very proud!

Good luck Marsha....you're in my thoughts!

LK - Hope Ariel is feeling better....and thanks for the picture post some time ago!

Lorraine - bad time of year to get over a cold....please take care and hope you're feeling better soon!

Although the forest seems to be "thinning out" I just want you all to know how much I appreciate knowing that I have this safe and friendly place to always find a kind word, caring angels (ATLMS) and oftentimes an easy smile!

Let's try to hang in and remember.....only WE can prevent Forest Fires!!!

Gail, I am with you on the homework issues. That seems like too much.

Last night, DD was trying do start a math projest assigned last Friday, due this Friday. She thought she could do it all last night. Could not get the TI-83 connected to the computer. She spent an hour trying. I asked here. DH, DD, and I all worked for another hour. Homework isn't started, we don't know how to conect the calculator and she has band practice tonight from the end of school until 8pm. I told her she better skip the start of band and get homework help.

Too bad I didn't know all this BEFORE the conference.

And, she will need to record Survivor and ER to watch later.

Good Morning Angels from TLMS!

When I picked up my youngest daughter from her class at church last night, they had gone out to the playground.

Guess who poured sand all in her hair?
