Hello friends.
We visited the other Episcopal church in our town again today. I think we are going to move our membership in another month. We hate to leave our friends behind, but it seems to be the right decision to make. We stuck it out for a year since the disagreement and have forgiven the people involved (long story), but we just don't feel the same any more. We just show up about once a month and then leave right after the service. This other church is where I went as a child and my good friend is the priest there now. I feel completely different about going there.
After church we tried out a new Italian restarant. It was wonderful! Huge portions and very tasty. Our waiter was new and poured my diet coke in my plate.

But other than that it was very good. We'll go back.
Allen and David are at a Scout Board of Review. David isn't up for advancement. He just has to finish that pesky Eagle project and one more Eagle required merit badge to get his Eagle. Anyway, they are spending the afternoon sitting on BORs for other Scouts. This Tuesday we have a court of honor and Saturday we have our annual mudball fight. Yes, the boys use catapults to fling mud at each other.

It usually degrades into a hand-to-hand mud-flinging match and then they do things like tug of war over a mud puddle. It's a boy thing for sure. I've never been, but I've seen my guys when they come home and I've seen pictures. Anyone want to join in the fun?
Later, I need to find David a pair of tan chinos. He informed me this morning that his church pants were too tight. Sigh. Why didn't he tell me that before we did back to school shopping? I'm still looking for Amy's jeans on ebay. Maybe I can find some pants for him, as well. I don't like shopping much, unless it is for me!
Guess I better be productive and get some work done. I'll check back later.
