Good Morning Everyone!!!! I'm Back!!!

Welcome Back to Lorraine and Laura!!! I too am sorry we couldn't seem to connect.....I kept hoping againt hope that the evening weather would clear, but as you mentioned, MOST days just had to be played by ear and readjusted to suit what the weather would allow us to do...

Still, a great adventure was had by all! I rode on Mission: Space 3 times with my nephews....twice with my Mom (she's quite the wild grandmother)....it's always exciting to get to try something new...I was ALSO lucky enough to get on the COP for it's last day of the season on Saturday evening!!! That brings back a lot of good memories, and is something I always look forward to doing....

I know I have LOTS of things to catch up on DIS-wise, but as it's my first day back to work, there's lots to tend to there as well!!! For now....

Good morning everyone!

Mrs. AlabamaAlan finally went to the doctor last Thursday after several weeks of coughing. She has bronchitis and had to take a breathing treatment (medicinal bong) in the doctors office.

I stayed home Friday to watch the little one so Rebecca could take her medicine and sleep some. (Almost any medicine makes her groggy so she will not take it while she is home with the girls)

Lela's first week of school went well.

I'm anxious to hear about everyone's WDW trips!

Enjoy the last day of sleeping in Lorraine. It seems everyone is starting school up soon. Sometimes I am glad that I don't have to deal with it.

Oh wow, first day for your kids too, Carol. I hope it goes well for them!

DD, it is getting darker here earlier as well, but it sure doesn't feel like fall yet. We are still in the 90s with 90% or so humidity. I'll look forward to next month when it should cool down some more

Bernie, good luck with work today! I always have trouble going back the day after a vacation.

So Todd, if Gail is up so early, why weren't you??

There is definately a fall like feel in the air here...it's sunny, breezy, and about 70. The leaves are *just* starting to change. I'm in the mood to go pick apples!!!!!

Another day of vaca, then back to the grind for my darlings...I'll miss having them around.....but not the *extra* kids.


Changed ressie to the Wilderness Cabins today.....Bernie...you convinced me!

Now that sounds great! I love Fall (Autumn to you pretentious folks ) but we are still a long way from that sort of weather.

It is in the 90s outside right now, and feels pretty darn hot! I feel sorry for all the folks downtown rallying around the 10 Commandments monument.

DW is coughing, but feeling much better.

Thanks for the nice wishes, folks. Tomorrow is our actual anniversary - we figured we'd better not be in Colorado so close to the kids going back to school, so we snuck in the trip ahead of Labor Day!

I'm not quite ready for fall yet! I'd like another month of sunshine, warmth and swimming weather!!!

Alan - I hope your DW is feeling absolutely better very soon.

I'm putting together a trip report of our time in Colorado, and I'm looking forward to reading trip reports from all of you who are just returning!!

We were up in Iowa last week to settle our youngest in his dorm for college...I know, not as exciting as a WDW trip, and kind of hard for this ol' mom to do!
