Do we have to have a tattoo to attend? Will a temporary get us in the door? LOL!

I saw a college kid just yesterday with several tattoos. The ones that I noticed most were the two huge decorated triangles under his eyes. They were attractive in a way, but they made him look like a clown. All I could think of was what his wedding photos would look like someday. Personally I kind of like tattoos, but I think having huge tattoos on your face is a little out there. Wish I had a photo to show you.

11 piercings? That's a lot. I have trouble remembering to keep earrings in my ears. But more power to you. I think it's great if it's what you want.

Yikes more painful sounding talk of piercings and tattoos!

Been busy this evening doing some guitar practice and helping Jon scout out a job... so we are with you on that one Marsha if not on the tat thing... good luck to the three of us!!!!

Also wanted to say thanks for all your thoughts for my Grandma. I miss the days she knew who we were and was full of fun. *sigh*

My piercings didn't hurt (all 7 in my ears) but the tattoos sure as heck did! It was sort of like having someone take a lit cigarette to my skin over and over again until it was raw. That said, I'm not sorry I got them.

Evening all Luis wasn't feeling well so I came home to a sleeping husband. I was a nice wife and was quiet downstairs while he got some sleep.

Alan, you are right about the earrings thing... I can take them off if I get tired of them. The funny thing is I have had them in since end of May and I don't think I'll be getting rid of them anytime soon I dont' know, I've been talking about a tatoo since I was 16 so since 10 years later I still am tatooless, I figure it will stay that way.

LOL Gail, if the tag fairy left me alone once with the tatoo talk, I am sure they'd leave me be again Glad you were able to donate platelets!!!! I have so much going against me (low bp & bad circulation, low iron and a fear of needles)... I have never been able to donate (when I have tried) and since I fear needles so much, I just can't bring myself to do it anymore. And to think, I am O- too.

Marsha, best of luck to you with teh job! I am sure you will find something!!!

Lars, I have 10 piercings alone in my ears, so I could easily think of 11 places to pierce!!!!

TattooCon??? I love it! You can sign up to be a hand-holder if you aren't up for getting a tattoo.

We got our temps at Typhoon Lagoon also. Mine lasted almost 3 weeks. Leah's is still visible on her arm, but with a good scrubbing it should come off. DH and DS's tattoos lasted about 10 days.

I would be willing to get a henna tattoo, but nothing more. DD has gotten several of them. They last about 12 days.

I have 2 piercings in each ear and that is all. I have small ear lobes and I think the higher up ones hurt more than the lower ones.

I am will come to tattoo.con if I can just watch. No tattoos or more piercings for me.

I swear some day I might get the courage to do a tatoo. By then though, I will be old and gray and it probably wouldn't look good

Carol, I am done with piercings as well. 5 in each ear was plenty and I was not keen on the thought of doing cartilage piercings.

Tattoo.con huh? I've always thought about a little one above the ankle. I'd probably have to have a couple of drinks in me first not that i need to have the drinks to help w/ the pain, just want a couple of drinks!

E - hope your DH is feeling better soon.

Gaspode - waiting for the day when your CD of your guitar playing arrives!

Marsha - good luck w/ the job hunting. i bet they never have openings in the disney store.

Got to get some actual work done now on the computer - that LK puts me to work at all hours!

I AM old and gray so I'd better get at it!!

I'm up for it!!!! A little one on your ankle is a good plan Lorraine (and the few beverage "assistants" wouldn't hurt EITHER).....a little shamrock maybe???

I actually DO have 2 little tattoo's on my ankle.....being the "fun aunt" (I think that's my official title) when my nieces turned 18 and were "allowed" to get pierced/tattooed, I was the "responsible" adult sent along to witness/accompany them....their MOM couldn't STAND the thought of watching....so I was elected, and had to get SOMETHING to remember the occasion by!!! Two years ago I got a little "bee" above my left ankle and just 2 months ago got a tiny flower along side my bee....not sure WHAT will happen when the 3rd niece turns 18 in 2 years....ONLY TIME will tell!!!

My only question re: TattooCon....will we need to ride in on our Harley's????
