Morning all (well, tis almost afternoon here!)

I've had a great start to the day with my two Regional Cookbook Exchanges arriving

I'm just off to post on the sent/received thread - I was sent some really great things and Carol, one of the books is the Mid-Atlantic cookbook so I'm sure to find Maryland Crab recipes!!

Enjoying the Riddle thread but it seems 'slower' than usual...

Looking forward to hearing from you all later on today.... !

A quick good morning for all my Angels Friends!!!!

After a long weekend of work and a late night last evening, I chose to sleep in a bit today.....my boss is visiting me today from CT and I need to take her on a "tour" of a handful of my locations for her "white glove" inspection.......WISH ME LUCK!!!!

If the riddle is an EASY one....MAYBE I'll have some pants on today.....or maybe me being pantless would distract my boss????? decisions....decisions...... :rolleyes:

Good morning Angels!

Our vacuum ist kaput, so we did a brief bit of looking around last night and will probably purchase tonight.

Because of back problems, Mrs. AlabamaAlan prefers a cannister vac. Besides, we have never found an upright that does well with non-carpeted flooring..

I suspect there will be a Kenmore in our future...

LTM, good luck with impressing your boss today! I'm sure everything will be fine.

Every October DH gets to go and take inventory at one of their locations. Last fall, he was sent to Orlando and wanted me to go. Of course then I wasn't as Disney obsessed as I am now, so I said "Go ahead without me. We don't need to spend the extra money anyway."

What was I thinking??? :confused:

He will probably be sent to some lame location this year. I'm hoping he will be sent somewhere close to one of you so I can come and visit! He should find out soon.

CS, he was sent to Houston two years ago. Is that close to you also? They usually don't send him to the same place twice, however.

Okay, I just got off the phone with John. He is fine. Just needed a little break from the DIS. He was out with his family doing a flea market thing and enjoying himself. He said he got the e-mails but didn't have time to reply to them this morning and he also wants you all to know that he still loves you.
