Morning Angels and TMWLT! Trying to muster strength today. I slept well last night, so that is a GOOD thing! I HOPE everything is packed, and I am ready to meet the mouse! Got my Home Depot Mickey paint chips and wrote "DIS" on them as well as my name. Maybe I will actually see some lime green this trip! January had me coming up empty on that score! I wore a huge lime green gift wrap bow, and cast members were constantly asking me what it meant, but I never saw another DIS green anything! I even packed a bright lime green tank top!

We had fun doing the rides at the fair last night. It was hot and humid, but free. A fun outing for the family.
Another busy day at work today to I have to run.

Hi gang!
I have to stop over at the old thread and read the last few pages to catch up. We are getting ready to leave soon. (sniff, sniff...). At least Diane will be here to take our place! We had a wonderful time this week, despite the rain. Leah and I had Mickey bars yesterday in honor of all of you! Not sure if we are driving straight through or stopping somewhere tonight. Either way, I won't be back online until sometime on Saturday. Talk to you then!
Lars - I haven't read about what happened to your godson, but I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers today.

Sounds like fun, Carol. Things like that are seldom free. Glad you had a good time.
We still have triple digit highs all week, so it won't be chilly at night. And the humidity is terrible. I'm avoiding going out mid-day until it cools off a little.
The kids had their first day of school. They think most of their classes won't be too hard and most of the teachers are good. Amy's 4 core classes are taught by 2 teachers, so she has each one twice. One of those teachers won't be there for a couple of weeks because her husband is in intensive care. Those 2 classes will be taught by subs for a while.
David got word that the swim team might start doing weight training at 5:30 a.m. It takes him an hour to shower and get ready in the morning and he still can't get up on his own. That'd mean I'd have to wake him up at 4:30. Yikes! I am NOT a morning person. I think they are trying to kill me.

Last night we spent about an hour and a half taking cover in the basement. The tornadoes that came through our county were heading in exactly our direction
Dylan was pretty shaken up but luckily the storm had lost some of it's power before getting here & wasn't producing any tornadoes anymore....just hail & high winds. Have Lew look at how close the tornadoes touching down were to us!
This morning I'm meeting my parents at the mall to do some school shopping for Megan & Dylan. We'll have to do Matthew's next week when he gets home. It's much easier to do the shopping for Megan & Dylan because they like to shop....Matthew would rather walk on hot coals than go to the mall. 10 minutes in Target & the boy is DONE!LOL!

Busy but fun day. Had a recognition luncheon for work at Dave & Busters today and tonight Lew's office has it's annual dinner. Both are fun but I wish they were on different days...way too much good food at one time.
Hope the LK & SB families have safe trips home...and that Diane is safely in Florida. Let's keep those tornados away from everyone too!
