Disney and McDonald's back together again?

I had thought that Disney and McDonald's had parted ways with the movie and theme park tie-ins, but on my son's Happy Meal box today, they list the upcoming theme on the bottom of the box or bag and there was a WDW Year of a Million Dreams logo.

Searches of Google and this board turned up no press releases, but it looks like it is happening again.

According to the Happy Meal website the next promtion they are having will be based around pirates and princesses and the year of a million dreams.

I could not figure out how to post the link but if you go to happymeal.com and then click toys, it shows it on the far right.

My kids alerted me when they saw their boxes at Mc Donalds a few days ago. I miss the Disney toys in the Happy Meals. Better than the stuff they have been getting since they ended their association with Disney.

I've always liked that bulletin board in Dinoland with all of the McDonald's foods listed on there in puns.

I was so surprised to see on the bottom of the Happy Meal box with the little adver for A Year of a Million Dreams toys; because I knew that Disney wasn't going to do any more McDonald's toys after Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest toys. Then I did a google search came upon disboards.com and found this very page about it and I went to the happy meal link and saw that Disney Princess & Pirate thing y'all were talking of!! Can anyone provide a link to a page talking about why Disney is doing MickeyD's toys again (I can't find anything about it)?

I'm a little disappointed in them but of course, my girls want to get them!

We got our YOMD/Pirate Princess Happy Meal Boxes yesterday( Thursday March 13)

Just a Pirate toy and a Princess Bracelet.. with a "Collector card" saying...
in our case nothing as we did not win.

I think start dates were supposed to be Friday ( 3/14) but if a local franchise) has no other toys to give out.. they can start their promo's a day or so early.

We were at McD's today and my son got a headscarf thing that he insisted wearing through all of our errands...into Walmart, into the library, to a birthday party to pick up his sister.

He loved it. I abhored it. He looked like a thug. Oh well.
