Disney Adventure Planning Thread

Im so jealous! I want to do HK Disney too but its just too much to afford on my own.

At least im going to Tokyo Disney for my birthday next week!

I just saw some new construction photos, the Adventure is definitely coming along. Im so excited for when it finally sails in December!
Hi where did U see the photos could you please post them here.thanks

Seeing a lot of people saying that Deck 11 is not a good choice now that we know the deck plans. What is the reason for that? I'm relatively new to cruising so don't fully understand why. We're currently booked in cabin 11672, but we will definitely move if it's not a great spot for various reasons. 1752795805368.png

I wonder if it’s because that deck is the location of Imagination Garden and Discovery Reef so maybe it will be a busier place. But I’m completely guessing.

So, I finally found the time to go through the thread and add everyone's sailing dates as far as they have been provided. I added this to the the first post:

I just looked at the deck plans and I have no idea why deck 11 would be bad. It seems that Imagination Garden is on deck 10, so there would not be any additional foot traffic in your hallway. Your stateroom seems to be a Oceanview veranda pretty mid-ship. Seems a good location to me. You can go down one deck to where Imagination Garden is and also the casual dining around Ocean Reef. To go up you need to take an elevator, but that's expected on a ship that size.

Talking about the elevators: When some show at Imagination Gardens ends, then the elevators going up might get congested, maybe some people think that's why it isn't good? Also if you have an Imagination Garden veranda, I think you might not have a very good view of the stage from some of these on deck 11. But that doesn't apply to you.

I just found a new article in the local newspaper for Wismar where the Adventure is being built. https://www.ostsee-zeitung.de/lokal...ur-probefahrt-N6HAMPWS7RFBFBMTBAYCB6WFEY.html

Unfortunately it's behind a paywall, but I did get a free one month subscription. The gist of the story is:

The ship is supposed to be ready by 8/24. Then it will leave Wismar between 8/24 and 8/30 depending on weather and water levels. In order to make it easier for the ship to get out of the harbor she will not have a full load of fuel onboard. She will therefore go to a port on the island of Rügen (close to Wismar) and get a full tank there on 9/1-2. Then she will do sea trials and move from the Baltic Sea to the North Sea. There she is expected to arrive on 9/8 in Bremerhaven cruise terminal (Germany) and dock there for several days before starting more sea trials and arrive at the port of Emshaven (Netherlands) on 9/21 for an overnight stop. This is when most of the crew will board. The ship then moves back to a ship yard in Bremerhaven from 9/22 to 10/5. She will leave for Singapore on 10/6.

From the LA Port schedule we already know that she will be there a month later on 11/6.

Excellent, thanks for posting. Very excited about watching her leave on her journey to Singapore. Can’t wait to have her set sail!

Thanks for collecting all this data. Great job. Our sail date is Jan 5-8. Staying in concierge. Will be happy to report back after our cruise. I think there are 5 before ours so hopefully there will already be some good information out there. Our goal is shows, shopping and eating :) Hoping concierge makes all of those easier!

our sail date is Jan 12 to 15, 2026

we are 2 adults with 4 kids so concierge room made sense for us. Plus its our first cruise and with 2 toddlers, we thought it would be easier for them. Looking forward to trip reports and also will share our own

We are also a family with four kids, but when I priced it concierge verandah rooms was double the price of two Ocean view verandah rooms
Did you find any price benefit?

Thanks

yes, we booked the inside concierge room, cheapest of all. We also thought about the possible surge in crowd so the benefit of having access to the lounge was attractive coz of our two toddlers. Pls check it out, there are only a few of these rooms available. The window is a perk we were willing to forego.

Thanks. What were the advantages of concierge on the Adventure?

Good time of day to everyone!
Booked a 4-night cruise for April 2026 — super excited for my first-ever cruise!🛳️
Thanks for sharing the updated deck plans — much appreciated! I still think they might not be final, though.
I just watched a video of the Adventure’s undocking, and something caught my eye. The front of the ship was visible, and I think I saw something that looked like a pool or jacuzzi frame — but on the plan (deck 8), it’s just an empty space.
Maybe I’m wrong (95% sure that I am 😅), but I really hope it turns out to be a relaxing jacuzzi area!

On some ships, the forward pool is actually a rest space for the crew.

On the other hand, the Wish class ships all have a forward spa-exclusive pool.
