Rumor has it that one ship is going to be DVC, with sales starting in 2009.![]()
STOP IT! I'm running out of money!
DCL is a little pricey compared to other cruise lines, but IMO they are head and shoulders above the competition.I would propose the names
"Equity"
"Dividend"
"Capital Gain"
"Growth"
"Value"
"Income"
But then I'm a shareholder.
Where do people get the money for these cruises? I can't even justify it for a 20th anniversary unless I were to stay in the claustrophobia section below decks.

I seriously doubt one would be strictly DVC...but I'm already thinking ahead to 2012.... (As slow as they are getting those DVC point charts out for 2008 they'd better start on these now!!) I'm going to assume that by 2012 our measley points that we have won't go very far on one of these babies...so I'm gonna start saving up NOW!! I am so-o excited!!
Boy, I couldn't imagine how a 1,250 room DCL DVC would affect relative demand and availability through DVC. It would be such a different animal, I almost think it would have to be kept separate. Also, with so many laws and regulations regarding timeshares, and cruise ships avoiding regulation with foreign registration, how would that work? Plus, what is the average life of a cruise ship? I don't think the contract could be 50-years. Too many questions!
I'd be interested to know how it works!
Next time I see the ad I'll enquire and let you know.My guesses for names are Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy

Hummm...Considering what the prices will probably be by the time they're launched I'd say their names will be "First Born" and either "Arm and Leg" or "Left Kidney"!!
(But that's why I'm starting my 2012 cruise fund NOW!!)![]()
