Do any of you fellow DVC'ers find yourself constantly reading info regarding WDW. Even info that you have known for years. I love to read anything and everything about the world.

Have a great day.

Yes, and I can't quite explain it.
I can sit down and read the Unofficial Guide to WDW again even though I know pretty much what it has to say on everything.

How about watching the DVC sales pitch video on the television over and over again when you are at a Disney Resort? I feel your pain! ;) ;)

Yes!! My family thinks I have a Disney Addiction:p I love planning for future trips no matter how far away they are. I have to know every little new thing that is happening. Oh well I love Disney and am proud of it!!!:teeth:

Yes, I am a disney addict! We just got back from a week at BWV and had a great time. There is just something about walking up to magic kingdom and starting to hear the music that brings out the kid in me. This year I wore minnie ears both days in magic kingdom -- much to my DS's laughing. As I always say, there are no adults allowed at Disney!!

I have an entire bookshelf of Disney reading material. Bob Thomas's books are first rate.

When my wife asks me if I am ever going to change the channel from the DVC one, I give her a choice of the cruise line or WDW. She justs shakes her head.

You're ALL sick............... and so am I!!! :p Guess we'll just wallow in this illness together! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I think I have watched the same show about GF and YC/BC on the travel channel about 800 times. I look for it everyday and if it is on I watch it again.

Hi, My name is Judy and I'm a Disney Addict.

I hope I never get straightened out, lol

Me too, I am just glad to have found the Dis Boards, ever since I have found these boards (and I do visit several of them, although this one and the cruise one are my favorites), I no longer feel like an 'addict'. You guys make me feel normal :p ...... it's the rest of the world that is crazy not to be hooked on Disney!!!! But I don't mind, the less crowded the parks and the cruise are when I go, the better I like it (I am not a big crowds person).

I think DH is secretly a Disney addict too, but he hides it better. You have NO idea how shocked I was when he actually agreed to buy into the DVC last year while we were at WDW. DH is not someone to spend money carelessly (BTW, we were tent camping at FW when the DVC guide came to pick us up, I have often wondered if we are the only people they have ever picked up at a tent and brought to a presentation and have them buy that day---quite a jump up from tent camping to DVC resorts :D ).

We were in a Pop-up at FW when they came and got us. You are not the only one...hehehe. I live to plan the next vacation to WDW. I went 3 times last year and do not have one planned yet this year. It is killing me. I am hoping to get there at Thanksgiving again, but we haven't planned it yet. I like to count down the days. Yes, we are all sick, very sick and we love it.

I reread my Passporter obsessively, even though I have most of the info memorized! I can't wait for my new one (2003) to arrive. I've ordered the Deluxe Edition so I can add and remove pages.

My husband just shakes his head and smiles, and my friend Tammie literally can't believe there are whole forums devoted to "Disney talk." She teases me and says she and my other pals are going to stage an intervention so I realize "I have a problem!" I know there are so many BAD things I could really be addicted to -- Disney is NOT a problem. The closer I get to a trip, the more I read. I always get new ideas from books, and here on the boards, about things to try. Even though I have visited lots of times since 1972, there is ALWAYS something new to experience! I think re-reading and planning and plotting is like dreaming. When it's something you love, you never get tired of it. That's what a true passion is, and I am glad I have found one.

One problem I have from these boards is that I learn about SO many neat things, and we just can't do them all. AND I get caught up in the 'add points' thing (which DH has put his foot down; he says we have to learn to live with our 150 points---which is better than no points ;) ).

After reading about the new Cinderella dinner. We want to try DisneyQuest sometime, but when? We have never been to the water parks. I want to go to the campfire again at FW (we really loved it last year). We want to stay at every DVC resort sometime (this year we are planning on staying at HH, BCVs and OKW). Vero Beach is going to be the hard one, but would like to stay at least one night sometime.

So these boards are fun, but they also get me wanting more and More and MORE Disney!
:p

You're right, there are worse things that you can be addicted too!

I am glad to be a member of this distinguished group. My family and friends smile sympathetically at me while patting me on the shoulder as if to soothed my fever when I talk about WDW. I tried to give my son a WDW honeymoon as a gift and he asked if we could exchange for another location. Now who's crazy? Planning for a trip almost give me as much pleasure as going. Yes; read, chatting and planning about trips fill a void at times but it is a results I intend to fill with family and friends. To my follow friends/addicts, bless you for sharing your information, happy memories and sometimes problems to avoid. I wish you a magical day and many more Disney memories to come.

The disease we all have is called Disneyitis. I use to have the meaning of Disneyitis which was very cute. Don't know what I did with it, maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about.

You should see my office! Disney all over. Working in IBM you need some happiness surrounding you, and Disney sure brings me happiness! :bounce:

I also have 1 of my bathrooms dedicated to Mickey! The Disney stuff I have around the house is rather obsessive too.

I had a 8 ft. Mickey in my yard Christmas time. It broke my heart when he would get ice on him (live in upstate NY). It also broke my heart when I had to take him down. :(

Anyway you are not alone..... We all Love Disney.

I find that I do spend a good portion of each of my days, either reading these boards, planning my trips or just thinking about Disney. I do have a few WDW guide books that I pretty much know by heart but find myself reading and re-reading. As soon as I hear the music of the new Disney commercials come on TV, my head wips around and I watch it. I have several different Travel Channel videos about Disney on Tape and I watch them when I need a fix. My immediate family is almost as bad as I am, but I have a few friends that just kind of shake thier heads at me? Am I addicted? Yes! Am I trying to stop the addiction? NO! Why would I want to stop something that makes me and everyone around me soooo happy?

Hey SimbaNoodle I feel your pain. We'll be there for Mardi Gras too. Have a blast.

wordzylady "As I always say, there are no adults allowed at Disney!!" This is me.

I've tape all the Discovery/Travel Channel segments of Disney just so we can get some magic throught the year. The DIS gives me small fixes too.

My DW says I have a hard time concentrating on what others tell me, (only hear what I want) so she and DD are beginning to start each sentence with "Mickey said" or "Disney wants...." :D
