Disney account not the same for DLR app?

I have a Disney account that is linked across My Disney Experience, WDW Annual Pass, DVC, etc... Those credentials, however, do not seem to be working as a log-in to the DLR app. While I know the reservation system is distinct, I figured the underlying profile would carry over. Was I wrong? Do I need to set up a separate account for DLR?

It's the same login. If it isn't working*...
1) update app, try again
2) delete app, turn off phone, reload app, try again
3) wait a day, Disney IT sucks & might have broken something behind the scenes
*assuming you already re-typed your login & password on WDW site to make sure they are right
Especially #3! Rule #1: In the absence of another obvious cause, assume it's Disney IT messing up and try later.
 

I had it happen to me. I didn't reinstall the app. I updated it, then shut down and restarted my phone (iPhone 6s). Worked fine and haven't had the problem since.
 
Thanks everyone - I was being thrown off by the 'let's set up an account for you' note I was getting when launching the app. Apparently it was dong that because it was my first time on that app, but I thought it wasn't recognizing me at all. All set now.
