Disney 3 months after Gastric Bypass, what can I eat

Anyone who has had can you give me any tips on food choices when it coems to this? I am 3 months out so i am on normal foods but I am not sure what I can find there and where?

I know no bread, no chicken nuggets, not fries... but I am hoping someone can tell me what they did eat....

I would go on this website or allearsnet and look at the menus. That will give you an idea of what is out there.

We did this when my mom went with me, because she had just been diagnosed with a gluten-free diet. We did some research, so she felt prepared, even though all I had to do was indicate on our ressies that she had to go gluten-free.

It made her feel more in control of her choices and her new lifestyle.

i am 7 years out from my bypass and can eat anything now. hard to remember what i was eating at 3 months out but i would say just about anything as long as you eat it slow and chew well. by now you should know what you can and can not eat. alot of places serve mac and cheese on the kids menu which would be good. and i would say make sure you take your card if you got one from the dr.{if you didn't get one call and ask for one.} that says you had the bypass and they should let you order off of the kids menu without hessitation. remember not to drink with your meals so you can get the meal in first. when i order a hamburger or chicken sand. i still today always take the top bun off and eat it with bottom only. this way you won't have all the bread to fill you up. are you able to eat salad's? they are just about everywhere. good luck to you.

Protein shots are really good to! They come in hard plastic bottles that look like science vials, you can screw the lid on and off if need be, and they are super durable and convenient!
