I did the Wish in 2022. It was ok, but wasn't my favorite ship

I went in December 2023 and it is my favorite ship! Granted it was also my first ship and I don't use the pool area on ships. Go to the Rose the first night, most people haven't explored the ship fully yet and you might have it all to yourself. (On my cruise it was like everyone went to bed at 10pm lol). Also don't miss the good night kiss! When i went it was midnight in the atrium but I heard it might also be at 8 and 10pm now?

My family recently did a Wish cruise - it was our first Disney cruise, so I can't compare it to others, but here are some of my biggest takeaways and recommendations:

• If you have time to take it easy in the morning, I highly recommend the sit-down breakfast option. Marceline is very good as far as buffets go, but the breakfast at 1923 was awesome. I'm still daydreaming about the peanut butter and jelly pancakes.
• Along those lines, Marceline has two sides of the restaurant, and both serve the same foods, so there's no need to walk all the way around. But--there's only one fresh seafood place in the back on the opposite end from the entrances, so if you want things like crab legs, shrimp, etc., keep walking past the desserts to find it!
• Make sure to do the theater shows! When people say they're Broadway quality, it's not an exaggeration. Aladdin was incredible! Get there about 20 minutes early to get a good seat.
• Prepare to take the stairs during dinnertime hours. The elevator situation is a mess, and since half the ship has dinner at the same time as you in one of three floors, you might find yourself waiting for 10 minutes or more to finally squeeze into one if you don't want to walk.
• If you plan to do some souvenir shopping on the ship, I'd recommend doing it before the last night...the Disney stores were absolute chaos that final evening.
• The farewell celebration the last night in the atrium was a bit of a disappointment...we were anticipating a show of some kind, but it was really just a final opportunity for character meet-and-greets.

Pool deck food court on 12 is excellent especially the Donald’s Cantina and Mickey’s BBQ. I liked the Arendelle dining. World of Marvel was just okay. I liked the Rocking Pirate party, the Walt Disney theater shows were good. The movie theaters are very small and found the seats uncomfortable.

I did the last Bingo of my 3 day cruise totally enjoyed it. Didn’t win. $50 bucks for 48 cards on the tablet.

I really enjoyed the Wish! If you drink, I would definitely check out Nightingale's and also get an Old Fashioned from Hook's Barbery (the hours are weird so you'll have to check on those when you get onboard). I also really enjoyed our dinner at Enchante (note that we're vegetarian).

The Wish is the first of the fleet where you can go stand at the bow, just make sure you go during the day since I don't think it's lit at night so you can't get up there.

I'm glad they added the Cantina to the Dream! I can't wait to try it next month
