Unfortunately, it will only pick up photos of you, plus anyone who happens to be riding close enough to you to be included in the photo (for example, at RnR, it's the four people in that section of the car, whereas at Pirates it's everyone in the boat). If any of the other party members have cell phones, have them log into MDE (their own account if they have one, or yours if not), turn on Bluetooth on their phone, and allow MDE to use it. That will (hopefully) link photos of them and whoever is riding with them, as above. And of course for any of the rides that have photo tap points at the end, they can tap their ticket cards to link those photos.I have a family of 6 going and I would like to get memory maker. I have them as family and friends on my Disney experience. If I’m the only one with a charged magic band plus will mine pick up ride pictures of all my family?
Thank you! LOL, I don't know for sure, but I guess it might link those photos to your account in addition to linking yours, since by tapping your band you're saying those photos belong to you. Hopefully if your family members are distributed across several photos, you'll have time to identify and tap them all before they're replaced by other photos. I'm hoping that someone with additional experience or knowledge will come and comment!Thank you! What if I tap their photos at the end of the rides?
That worked for me on my trip earlier this month.Thank you! What if I tap their photos at the end of the rides?

I just purchased solid red & solid pink this morning at the Disney Store so I don't know why they're not showing up for you.I still haven’t purchased magic bands for my trip yet. But I checked this morning and there doesn’t seem like there’s much variety. Do they often restock the store? I’d like a solid color and only see one of them available.
They had a sale on the Disney store for 25% off if you have a Disney Visa. They have more plain colors at the online storeI still haven’t purchased magic bands for my trip yet. Oh okay, thanks. I was looking at the selection through the my Disney experience link, not the Disney store.I just purchased solid red & solid pink this morning at the Disney Store so I don't know why they're not showing up for you.
You can, but newer attractions don't have a place to tap for photos. For Guardians, Tron, Slinky Dog Dash, Frozen Ever After, Haunted Mansion they will need either a MagicBand (with a charged battery) or MDE running on a smartphone (with permission to access bluetooth).Thank you! What if I tap their photos at the end of the rides?
Okay well shoot. May not worth buying memory maker if I can’t get pictures of everyoneYou can, but newer attractions don't have a place to tap for photos. I noticed the same. Only a hand full have the "pre-arrival discount". The rest are full price. That is a big let down. In the past every band listed under MyDisneyExperience for your upcoming trip had pre-arrival discount. At first I thought it was all the "New" (released in Dec) bands, like the Figment Band, Disney World Icons, etc., and the rest were discounted. But the Vacation Club band and a few others were released over the summer and before and have no discount.Ok so we are staying at Boardwalk in February and we were looking at buying new magic band plus. We already have a set from last trip in 2023, but the kids wanted to look at new models.
When I go to the MDE, only Some options are discounted. I remember in 2023 every single band had a discount, but now only half or so are discounted?
Try setting up MagicMobile feature of the Disney app on your phone, and keep your phone on you, and not burried deep in a bag or pocket. And keep note of when you rode the rides just in case the MagicMobile didn't work to autolink those non-tappable ride photos. You can always stop at the Photopass shop in the front of each park and they can link them (knowing the ride date/time makes it easier for them to find your pictures).Okay well shoot. May not worth buying memory maker if I can’t get pictures of everyone
