any one know if you can upgrade these tickets to AP's
I am thinking of getting these tickets but if an AP discount comes along for rooms would need to change them

I think doing the math should help you make a decision. How does the price compare on the AP as compared to the Ultimate ticket?

You will have to inquire about resort rates with the AP discount and then without. Sometimes the price is so much less with the AP that it will justify purchasing one. Especially with the deluxe resorts.

Remember that only the person making the room booking needs an AP to get the room discount (and all the other AP discounts and benefits), so you would only need to upgrade one 14 day Ultimate ticket.

Current AP cost is $441.98 inc. tax or $574.05 for a PAP.

Current AP discounts for this August are:

$25 for Value
$50 for Moderate
$75 for Deluxe

So for a 14 night stay you will save between $350 and $1050 on your resort accommodation - more than enough to pay for AP upgrade
Plus you will be able to get an DDE card (Disney Dining Experience card), which will give your party 20% off meals in most table service restaurants.

I did it last year it cost about £120 but it works out at a saving because I don't have to buy a ticket for this year, plus the savings on food and presents.
