This will be our first trip to Disney World, and I have been doing a lot of research so we won't be total idiots when we are taken by the magic. What I was wondering is how far is the parking lot at MK from the entrance? Thanks in advance for any help.

All depends on what time you get there.

At one point, the MK is about 1 1/2 miles from the parking lot. However, there are trams that run circles around the parking lot all day and night..so you shouldnt have an issue walking to or from your car to the MK.

PS...

Dont forget to take note of what section of the parking lot you park in, makes life much easier

Don't feel bad, I have been on here for 1 1/2 years and I still fell like a idot sometimes. I have only been to WDW 3 times so every time I go I have to carry the maps to find my way around so I won't get lost. As far as how far, im not for sure. I always take the bus and it drops you off at the gate.
