Well, just to confuse things further, I am leaving with DH, DS12 & DS10 for our long anticipated week in HHI with MOST of DH's family. I had hoped to get an update in before we go, but I'm not sure I can do it- have to get both boys to separate baseball playoff championships- in 2 separate directions- after which we will start our drive to South Carolina! We plan on getting 5 hours in tonight- I'll probably check in while I'm away, so talk to you later!!

And yes, we are staying at Disney HHIR- first Fri & Sat at the Hampton Inn (BIL/SIL are already down there at another resort until Sunday) and then we check into a Grand Villa from SUN-Friday. VERY, VERY excited!!! I absolutely love HHI, and I REALLY love DHHIR. It's like going to summer camp with your family. If anyone wants to try it, I have a friend (who I rented the points from for this stay) who is going to rent her HHI pts next week-

Hello from Hilton Head!!! We got on the road at 9 PM Thursday night and after 5 hours (and 30 minutes of a bumper to bumper traffic jam in VA at 12:30 AM) stopped for some sleep in Fredricksburg. Arrived in HHI last night at 5- Oh, I really, really love it here!

Checking into DHHIR tomorrow!!!!

Ok- Just to be clear- if the DISmoms were on every trip with me-

A. I would never get ANY sleep
B. I would be the happiest DISmom alive!

They played pool a few times- a LOT of ping pong both at both pools. My one SIL and her family spend every waking moment at the beach (because that's what they ALWAYS do on vacation and God forbid they try something else) so we spent more time there than in the past. On a couple of the days the kids made up a mini golf course and were running around getting kids to try it- we were near the beach maze both those days. I did meet one DISser, Jejouel and her family- they were so nice! She just came up to me on Sunday at the main pool, I was so glad she did! I would have gone up to you to say hi, but I have no idea what you look like! So sorry we didn't meet! Did your family enjoy themselves? What did you do? I love it there, can't wait to go again-

My boys are 11 and 7 so maybe they played against each other LOL!
My husband played a game with my 11 year old too....
I don't know if this pic will show up, but my son was the one in the green cast?? and he wore this big blue mitt over it when in the water...I should have told you that BEFORE we left LOL!
