I went over to KK and got my 2 doz and the free one while standing in the line, which wasn't long at all so I was surprised when they brought the tray around. Afterwards I went over to Square One and, I swear, that place has grown again!!! When did the end where Old Navy is, go in? I don't recognize it any more....I used to live down the street from it and remember when it first opened. You need to lay a bread crumb trail to find your way out of the place, now!!

I wish the Disney store had more for adults, there really isn't much I can find in there that I'm interested in, anymore.

I had a fun day and it was great to talk to everyone. I'll look forward to the next meet!

Thanks again SandraC for organizing our meeting. It was so nice to see everyone again and thanks for the bag of goodies Sandra. Tony and I decided that you have so much energy you could be a CM. When I got home my DD had won a contest , writing an essay on "Why my Mom is the best" . We both received gift certificates for $100.00 each at White Oaks Mall!!!!!!!What a perfect ending to a perfect morning. Happy Mother's Day to all.

I also had a great time. Sandra you went above the call of duty with all the decorations and treat bags, that was very nice of you. My kids were asking as soon as we got in the car if we were going to have another meet and if they could go again, they had a great time. It was great to meet everyone, and I hope we can add to the list at the next meet. Thanks again, Sherry.

Glad everyone had a great time. We haven't been to a meet since the first one in London lo those many moons ago and hope we can get together with everyone again sometime, should the sports schedules allow.

I love the DISmeets. "Cyber" friends have become REAL FRIENDS due to meets! I love the SHELL INFO CENTRE and will meet any of ya' anytime there. It's 5 minutes from my house and that's where we usually go for coffee every weekend so the kids can run around.

Lots of folks are from the London or Peterborough area ~ I would love to have a DISmeet in those places too so you don't have to drive so far. It's been YEARS since I'll been to London and I'm ashamed to say, I've never been to Peterborough!

WELCOME TO THE BOARD TOWN BEAR!

I have been coming to these boards for over 1.5 years and we CDN's have had several DISmeets. I have been to 4 of them myself. I recall one in London when I first came to the boards, then RFC Yorkdale, RFC Niagara Falls, Toronto Island and two at the Shell Info Centre in Mississauga ~ WOW that's 6 DISmeets is about 18 months!

How you find out about them is just reading the posts.

The next DISmeet being planned is for August at Paramount Canada's Wonderland ~ wanna go?????? Everyone posts their ideas and we go with it!

I absolutely adore the friends I have made of these boards. Very kind folks with lots of excellent Disney info and stories. You will feel a part of the family very soon! WELCOME! Sandra

I just read about it in the posts. The one at Canada's Wonderland sounds like it might be a ton of fun!! Would love to hear about it if it gets planned for sure!!
