DisMeet - Baltimore (DC/MD/VA/PA) - Part 2

Hi all


I did not sign up for this June meet as I knew I could not make it. But I love the Inner Harbor. I saw how bad the rain was in the morning and said to myself, "Gee I wonder if anyone brought their Disney poncho!"



Yesterday I did spot a Disney poncho during the US Open golf tourney broadcast. It poured off and on in Long Island yesterday.

Sorry you missed out. That little bit of rain did not stop up. We just hung out at the MD Science Center longer. Which was great, I got to play with more toys and hopefully I'm now a little bit smarter. (then a fifth grader)

We felt like true tourists on the way to Phillips Restaurant. For those passing by, Antss even declared, "I'm so excited, this is my first time in this country"!

After acting Goofy all the way over, we finally arrived at Phillips:

We even tried to hook Klofan up with the waitress. She had a cute navy bow in her hair . . .

For dessert, PirateMel baked 2 different flavored cupcakes. Thanks so much for schelping them around with you all day for us!

After lunch, we had to say goodbye to Sha! (She has GORGEOUS hair!) She had a long drive back to Florida ahead of her that weekend. Sha I hope we get to visit England together someday!

We walked around the Harbor towards The Aquarium and took in some of the sites.

Candice was on a surgar high and did a Karate kick! Watch out Antss!

We ended up on the second floor balcony of the Barnes and Noble, where we had a nice view:

Later, my friend Kim, who joined me for a few days on my last Disney trip, joined us. She's in the pink shirt.

We DISers are crazy - crazy enough to save snow from January for another DISer's delight!

Shower, dress and load up the car... oh.. and not to forget to take mom back with me! She would love to stay, but I know she wont stay. So my 13 hour drive home should begin soon. (yep... I hear mom moving around on other side of the hall. Time to get ready).

That would be cool to do a small group trip to England wouldnt it??! And go to Disneyland Paris

Not sure if I'll be around for the next one.. But there are some going to Baltimore for the Red Sox and Orioles Game the weekend of July 31-Aug 2. Maybe there can be a DisMeet then.

Got home about 9pm... was a nice drive for the most part. And I never saw a Cracker Barrel sign at all on the way down... But I know I had to have passed them.... actually I know I shouldve passed 3 that I know of because I have been in them. Must have been some crazy people driving then. LOL

Could be interesting to see - coworker who grew up near Bethlehem was talking about it last week, that they converted a steel mill into a casino.

Just make sure I don't sit down at the slots or tables to play...
