Oh I am not making fun of you. It is so easy to forget that we all live in different climates. Like for instance it was in the 70's here today and I was gonna comment to everyone about nice it was that we are all having such nice weather.
*****.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It was FREEZING here today! Literally. I think we finally did manage a high of 40. Did I mention I hate winter? And it isn't even witner yet!
Not saying that it will definitely happen that we buy a house here and I get to stay while he goes back and forth to Alabama. but it sure sounds nice living in FL permanently. Then anyone can visit anytime, I'll have plenty of room.

I think that those hotels are about $200+ a night there, the Residence Inn and Fairfield. They are gorgeous though. They are only like 5 minutes from Kelly's house. The Days Inn I mentioned is about $119 a night I think and its about 10 - 12 minutes from her house. How much you can spend is up to you, so if you want to know the addresses or phone numbers or something let me know.

I am having a tooth built where the one I just broke is so I guess I don't qualify for you to adopt me, darn it all. I wanted to play with the Wii. :sad1:
:woohoo: That would be great if that would happen!

I will check out the hotels, thanks.:goodvibes

No, you have to have 4 teeth or less.:lmao: But I'll take ya anyway!

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling it? :confused3

The neurontin/fioricet combo are starting to kick in. You don't even want to know what I thought you wrote.

BLAH! I did that today too. Didn't go to bed until after 1 a.m. last night, then I was back up at 4 with the stupid allergies. I'm like a freakin zombie right now.

What? Did I miss something? I know this is going to probably turn into one of those "DUH" moments for me.

Tell Josh he looks lovely in his new grey sweater. Oh, wait...my bad.

High chair? Potty chair? Bath seat? Snow suit? Walker? Swing? Diaper genie? I'm sure I'll think of more later, but my brain is not functioning properly at the moment.

You know, out of all the things I got at my baby shower, I found the most useful to be the packages of diapers and Dreft laundry detergent. That stuff can really add up when you're buying it several times a week.

And you're right. Your puppy does look pathetic. Hope she's feeling better today.

I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling my yahoo yet. If I do that will I lose all my contacts and have to start all over again? I am always afraid to do that because I am afraid of doing something wrong and messing up something else. I do need to do something though.

If the address doesn't work, just email or IM me and I can send to you.

I'm working on mine now so won't be on DIS too much but will check in.

I checked out that link, that's pretty cool for those of you who have kids or are expecting them. What a great idea! :thumbsup2

Sharky said I had a point.:rotfl:

Umm we live near San Francisco. We are real near sea level we don't ever really get any snow,:rotfl:

San Francisco is always really nice weather. At least it was when I was there! What a nice area to live in.

I don't think you lose them. They're still associated with your usermane as far as I know. I've uninstalled it and used the beta version and I've still got contacts in there I havent' IM'ed with since 1998.

Hmm, will have to inspect this post and get back to you.

Thanks, Marshay!

Oh yeah, DUH me again.

I used dreft in my front loader back when my kids were babies. You should be fine.

Oh, I get it now.:lmao:

I had one of those brain fart things and didn't realiz e that.:rotfl:

Okay, stop making fun of me. I'm loopy due to medication.:lmao:

Hi Michelle, taking a little break from my work so that I can catch up on the DIS a little. How are you?

I'm okay. I am about ready to medicate my migraine so this is good night everybody!

Steph, one of the most useful items I had when Kelly was a baby was a little tiny medicine bottle, it was smaller than a shot glass and it was round, the nipple was like a normal size nipple and iat stretched over the little medicine bottle. I got it in the drug store. it was awesome when you had to give the baby medicine of any kind and you could use it up until they were like 2 or so. Also I got a rubber ducky for Trent's bath for Kelly and it had a water temp thingy on the bottom. You put it in the baby's bathwater and if the word hot appeared on the buttom it was too hot for baby, you needed to cool it down, if it didn't appear it was fine for baby!

Hey, you don't need to have [little] kids to do this -- you could take 20 pics from your last Disney trip and do one ... you could even do a "coffee table" style book of just pics of the castle, spaceship earth, etc...or pics of your quilts (for those who sew on here), etc.

I was going to do a Disney book but I may change it to be a "Ultimate photos of the last 3 years" book.

sorry to post and run...but I'm exhausted...spent 3 straight hours going through all our photos for the past 3 years...I'm glad I did...I picked 98 of the super best photos and DH will save them on a disk that we will also put in a firesafe box.

But anyway, I can't stare at the computer any longer...

What a great idea, the firesafe box.

Bet your book going to be great:thumbsup2

Nite:cloud9:

i didnt mean for you to think we were making fun of you!!

Steph, do you have a crib?

Are you breast feeding or bottle feeding? Do you have bottles? A breast pump?

What about one of those little spongy bears that you can stick in the bathtub so the baby doesn't slide all over the place? I don't know what the name might be for them, but I found it to be incredibly useful. You'll be surprised how slippery a wet baby is.:rotfl: Oh, and remember to cover the boy parts when you're bathing him, or he'll get an eyeful of pee.:lmao:

Do you have one of those things you clip onto a pacifier that has a ribbon and a clip on the end so that the baby doesn't spit his binky out and you can't find it? Kind of keeps the binky attached to the baby. Another small, but incredibly useful item.

I'll brainstorm and come back with some more not helpful suggestions.

I plan on brestfeeding so I have to buy a pump, and some bottles.. i have a few.. the tub thing I have has this seat thing in it so the baby doesnt slip around... I need to get the pacifier strap things too.. thats on my list of still gets..

Sleepers are like little pajamas with feet, one piece usually. kind of like long underwear would be, all one piece and they snap up the front.:)

ahh.. ive been calling them feetie pajamas... :rotfl: yeah we have some

San Francisco is always really nice weather. At least it was when I was there! What a nice area to live in.

it always seems cold there to me! but i loove the cold.. im having issues because i am trying to get used to our bedroom being warm for when the baby gets here and I cant sleep when its warm! :sad1:

I have this thing that looks like a bottle nipple and the "bottle" part is like tiny and its to give the baby their medine... I saw those bath thermometers at babies r us and its on the still needs list..

True.:lmao:

we got a regular thermometer in our little travel grooming kit thing but i have an ear thermometer on my still need list because they do seem easier..
